This scares me about Putin.

I think there’s a complete misrepresentation of Putin’s position on Ukraine and it will take wiser heads than mine to explain why.

long before Mr Putin went rogue loads of us questioned the sensibility of putting everything on the internet. If the internet goes bang so does everything else. We rely on Politicians to keep us safe but putting everything online does the opposite.

I wish we could get past this “NATO poking the Russian Bear” thing. Be assured, any poking that has been done has been coming from the other side for years - and they’re still chancing their arm with incursions around our shores and in the air. Thank the Lord that NATO has been consistent in a cool handed approach to all this.

Maremia NATO created the conditions which have resulted in a possible World War 3. NATO consistently threatened Russia. It took Putin a long time to act in this situation. NATO needs to reconsider its position.

And now it is over 70%, with demographics having changed, and a large proportion who voted for, now regretting it. But yes, still told to 'get over it'.

The big danger is cyber attacks. and damage to infrastructire, like the recent cuts to oil line and communication cables.

Putin does a lot of sabre rattling, but he knows that if he fires a nuclear weapon. Russia will be blown out of the water.

Russia, remember, now has NATO countries lining its borders from Finland right round to the Black Sea and its 4.500 kilometre Paciific coast is not far from the coast of Canada, also a NATO member. and the US. Alaska almost touches Russia.

If he fires anything nuclear, he will face retaliation from almost every country Russia borders. If he does go nuclear, it will be through an ally, like North Korea, not direct from Russia.

I suggest you apply to join Socialist Worker or whatever the current Militant groups call themselves. The ‘extreme left ‘ has always supported Putin against Ukraine.
