I’ve yet to see a woman walking round the street with her hands inside her bra fondling the contents. Sago started the thread to comment on adult males who walk about in broad daylight with their hands inside their jogging trousers . It’s very difficult to miss.

I think some men are so insecure and their’ town jewels’ are the only assets they have. They just have to keep checking that all is in order. Poor lambs

My eyesight is fine thanks but no I don't go round looking at mens crotches. I think it's a bit like men staring at your boobs. Raise your sightline.

Your eyesight must be bad if, let’s say you’re looking at a young man’s face and can’t see him playing with his trouser snake.

This is nothing new!
I worked in a factory for 10 years either side of the millennium and about half of the men lived in mortal dread that some malevolent spirit would steal their genitalia. They had to keep constantly checking it hadn’t happened.
All joking aside, it was constant with some of them. When we had younger girls joining us they found it quite alarming.
I buttonholed one of the worse offenders, looked him straight in the eye and asked him “ would you like me to sort that for you? So it will stay sorted”
It calmed them down for a bit, but it’s such an ingrained habit.

I’m of an age now where I will openly do a hard “stare” down at such behaviour and look “puzzled” until they notice.

I will also even ask chaps that I know “what’s going on with your right hand?”

Not a matter of looking , one can hardly avoid it if it is happening in broad daylight! A lot of light hearted responses to this post but it really is unacceptable - I fully agree Sago it is disgusting.

When I was about 18 I was Secretary to Managing Director of a large chain of factories. He was a right perv. I would be in his huge office taking dictation and he would take phonecalls and sometimes be on the phone for half an hour.

All the time he would have his hand down his trousers playing with himself. It was totally gross. I think he got a kick out of me being in there while he did this. After a few days of this I started going over to the window and looking out until he was finished. Other times I would scribble a note and push it across the desk to say I was in my office working and to buzz me when he had finished.

I was so young that I never dared say anything to him about his disgusting behaviour but I damned well would now! He is still alive but a very old man but I would enjoy telling him how vile he was.

If they offer you a sweet say ‘no thanks’!

It’s a fairly common sight amongst adult males. Common to see it in toddlers but not sure how it became acceptable in adults. It’s not a good look.

I saw in the recent series of Big Brother one of the contestants age 34 thought nothing of standing chatting to his fellow contestants with both hands inside his joggers holding his tackle. He is a rapper and musician and lists his day job as youth mentor 😳

I have literally never seen any child over the age of two playing with him- or herself, and I am a retired teacher.

If I had, I would have remarked calmly that one does not do that in public.

I have told teenaghers not to clean their nails in the classroom!
Certainly, never a grown man doing so in public.

Checking their flies, yes, quite a lot of decent men and boys are haunted by the fear that they might just have forgotten to do up their flies, or that their zip may have developed the devastating habit of decending. This disaster occured for my husband once when we were on a trekking holiday and he only had one pair of trousers with him. He solved the problem by a small loop of string through the top of the zip then wound round the button in his waistband.

As he said at the time, "now I really must go to the toilet in good time!"

I often wonder why men leave a toilet and then decide to check their fly is done up and adjust their bits. For goodness sakes do it before you leave.

When Gdcs was maybe 4, he and 3 other boys of around the same age were standing by an outdoor swimming pool, in their swimmies, watching others in the pool.

Dd gave me a nudge. ‘Just look - they’ve all got a hand down the front of their swimmies!’ 😂

Yep, it's not uncommon, is it? I spoke to a mother, in my teaching days, concerning her small boy about this matter, wondering what we could do to discourage this.
She sighed and said that it might be difficult as his daddy did it all the time...
