Body shaming

If boys or men get scolded or reprimanded for wearing leggings or spandex tights is that considered body shaming? Are they supposed to hide their physique and figures? Are the shapes of their bodies offensive or incorrect and only allowed in clothing that hides their body shape? Or does this new taboo of body shaming only apply to females who wear minimizing clothing that shows the curves or fats on their bodies?

I think people should wear what they want, there are far bigger things to worry about, so if someone wants to dress as a pink banana it doesn’t bother me one bit. We are all different so why dress the same? And why comment on who is wearing what? How tight or inappropriate it is?
As adults we all have mirrors and can all make our own decisions about what we want to wear.
