We have a great sadness in our lives right now but something today made me laugh out loud and it felt so good so I thought I would share it with you.

Our daughter and son in law are both very high achievers, our 9 year old granddaughter had a friend to sleep over on Saturday.
During dinner the friend announced she wanted to work hard at school and be a surgeon when she was older, our daughter asked our granddaughter if she had any vocation…..she announced proudly she just wanted to breed and sell hamstersšŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

Children have the amazing ability to make us smile I’m glad your GC cheered you up.
While sitting with my Gds the other day I told them since I was about their age I have not eaten crusts on bread. I was told they make hair curly and I had a mop of curly hair and I didn’t want it even curlier.
My Gds looked at me and both of them giggled pointing to my hair. They both blurted out ā€œwell nanny it’s rather obvious it didn’t work so now you might as well start eating crustsā€.

My 15 year old rather challenging granddaughter gave me a big hug when I went to their house the other day.

Sago That is so funny - I'm glad it made you laugh. The next hamster millionaire is on the horizon!

(The other stories are funny too).
