Good evening, Soop and lovely Kitchen people. 🥰 Hope the Soops are keeping a bit better today.
I took DH for his COPD review this afternoon. The nurse changed his prescription and sent us to the hospital for a chest X Ray. I had to push him in a wheelchair the long and winding road to radiography, me with my wonky knees too! I agree with the comments about declining mobility...He's to go back in a month. I'm glad he's being checked out because he wasn't great on holiday although we made the most of things but at a much gentler pace than before.
NannyG4, I'm glad you're staying with family just now. I hope your DH is comfortable and calmer now. Thinking of you all.
Doodle, lovely to hear that you were out with family for your Sunday roast dinner!
SueD, thank you. I hope you find your bag soon.
Brook, thank you. I hope your wee DGD is on the mend soon.
Grandmabatty, good news about your dear Mum, I laughed out loud at the
" Comeback Queen "! Hope the wee boy
"goes" soon.
Cornergran, I hope MrC. is feeling a bit better now.
Jaxjacky, that's a beautiful tree. I bought an acer from Lidl a couple of years ago but it didn't survive. I'm not sure what I did wrong, maybe over watered? Hope your quiz went well.
Aww, Nannytopsy, poor wee boy! I hope his teeth come through soon. You're a great help to your DD and family.
Blossoming, you sound nice and cosy! I hope your hands are less painful today.
Rosie'sMaw, I agree. My family would get a shock if they saw me struggling to come downstairs in the mornings!
Harrigran, I've got my fluffy socks on too. I thought I'd put them away but I had to find them again, I can't bear cold feet.
Sounds like a fun afternoon Ladyleftfieldlover. My creativity is limited to making soup theses days...
Aww, Urms, girls' day out.💕 Did you keep a wee curl to treasure?
I'm missing the Monday night BBC 2 quizzes, so I'm binge watching Popmaster TV, loving it!! The legend that is Ken Bruce!

and requires defrosting. I hate that task, too. If I don’t wear gloves I cut my hands on sharp ice etc.

. I’ve no idea how they found the island, we lived in East London, no Google back then. An ideal spot as both parents loved the sea. It took a year for them to save for that week away, it meant a lot to them. I doubt we’ll return, the journey was a bit much, Mr C wasn’t too well on the way back. He was upset I had to drive although I didn’t mind.
