January and February.

There were quite a few punters still draped over the tables from last night so I've encouraged them out into the cold and rain to sober up. The Admiral is still in his usual corner as he is a fixture now. He seems happy cuddling up with Delila.
May Hem and Kay Oss are still drinking so I see trouble ahead when we open.

Pittcity is March any better. It's going to be a long winter

The llamas are all up now and yep Laura they’ve had a good hose down and so has ixion once I’d managed to untangle her from the wall. Shes looking much better now but it’s a shame we can’t say the same about the Admiral
Dress rehearsal for the panto later all the llamas have got their special outfits and the little kiddies from Pigstrotter Alley Primary are due at 4. Best get everyone sobered up B4 then and dangerous objects out of reach Best get Hamish out of the way too

When Pigstrotter Primary arrive we need the Admiral out of the way too. We can't have him doing his elephant impression again. The 5 year olds were traumatised and everyone else too 😲

AGAA, that’s not me cuddled up with the admiral, I managed to shake him off after our Argentinian Tango. Least said about that the better. I’ve moved on. I’m here to help clear up for the panto before Pigstrotter Primary arrive.

I think it’s Charleygirl with the Admiral then. Don’t know where she found my dress though - I put it out in the shed with the llamas after the Brassicalissimo debacle. The Captain lent me a pair of overalls.

Gnasher will be good but I don't trust Alarma. She will want to upstage everyone else. brook is very good at keeping the llamas calm so hope she will be here soon.

I'm going to be the Furry Godmother. The only costume I could find was for the donkey from last year's nativity.

Thank you for your kind ministrations during what passed as a horrendous night, especially Delila. I'm sure we've met before🤔. I have found a marvellous use for the tubs of Brassicalissiscrub. Works a treat on the llama's hooves. Alarma was thrilled, and needless to say, wanted something a tad different. I have packed her off to TackiNails to add glitter🤦‍♀️.

No trouble at all Ixion, glad you’re so much better today, just a little residual redness, but nothing much - only someone with a medical inclination, (like me), would ever notice. Have you ever been to me for acupuncture - perhaps that’s how we’ve met?

Couple of teensy observations.

Inviting Junior 1s was always going to be risky. Did you hear the red headed kiddy with the freckles - "cor look, Miss, they've got a camel". I thought Alarma was going to go for him.

And I think that old staple, the drop down songsheet with the words on? Is Mydingaling really suitable for matinée performances?

AGA I’ve had the high wire rigged up as you asked for your performance as Furry Godmother. I will be on hand at ground level with the controls just to make sure you have a smooth landing. Now what did the man say ….🤔 press blue button for a slow smooth landing and press the red button for super fast ascent……..or was it the other way round. Never mind I’m sure it will be fine. 😊
