Good morning all from a cloudy Glasgow, where it is two 2°C.
I have woken with yet another bad headache,I'm putting it down to the boosters.
Brook, I hope you are safely in Gatwick by now. Have a great time with your grandchildren.
Good luck with the dentist folks and GM, hoping for a successful meeting.
Well yesterday turned out to be much better than anticipated.
I was lying in bed reading GN, and feeling sorry for myself, when DH came up and asked why I wasn't dressed. ???????
"I thought we were going out"" he said.
I pointed out that he was allegedly dying after his booster.
"Oh I feel a good bit better now that I am up, fed and showered".
I was out of bed , as fast as my stiff joints and lightheadness would allow. 😉
We had a lovely morning, Coffee, chatting, a bit of retail therapy and a lot of sitting and people watching.
DH, who usually comes back with nothing, bought three pairs of of trousers and a pair of joggers in the M&S outlet. The best part was that he actually agreed to try them on and for the first time in years, (he doesn't have a regular leg length) they do NOT need to be altered. I hate that job. He must have shrunk! 😁
There were lots of bargains in the outlet ( Jeggings at £4.99), but nothing for a wee fat lady!
While DH was trying on the trousers, I had to ask the assistant if I could sit down in a cubicle, because I was having an attack of dizziness. Doing too much, too soon!
As for me, I know you won't believe this, but all I came back with was a bottle of Molton Brown rose absolutely shower gel ( my absolute favourite treat), a box of Christmas cards and a pair of glittery socks! DH was astonished at my frugality and delighted that he had been relieved of pack horse duties!
Usually we have lunch out too, but I had done too much and just wanted home. I was right to go home. Later the nausea came back with a vengeance, but I'm used to that now, it's no big deal.
I'm pretty wiped out, so an easy day for me today. I may flick a duster, if I feel up to it.
I suspect my PP may appear. Wednesday is his usual visiting day and after last week's doorbell fiasco, he may try today.
Poor Dollie was indignant, when she got the blame for the doorbell. She used to change the ring tones or switch it off. It was actually nothing to do with her. 😚
Have a good day folks and best wishes for all the poorlies.
