Has anybody tried the scones

Where is that?

The 3 ingredient one?
Looks so simple - too simple?
I’d be interested if anyone has tried it.

I guess you can add sultanas too.

I haven’t but know that they are said to be delicious by those who have! My scones are usually suitable for house building. 🤣 Perhaps I should give this recipe a try,

I didn't think that ANY scones had many ingredients!

I have tried a scone recipe which uses three ingredients including a regular can of lemonade - I think that must be the one which you mean OP.

It's ok but if you see what I mean. They tasted much the same as any old scone but I thought they were a bit drier. Hardly worth the bother as I don't normally keep lemonade in the house anyway and had to add it to my shopping list.

I have some in my freezer currently.

It's my go to as it works well with gf flour.

The lemonade scones I made them and put raisins in them. There nice enough especially with clotted cream and jam.

I used the scone recipe by Mary Berry, which I found online and they was really nice. Probably the best I have made so far.

I make them in the air fryer and they are fine

I felt that mine made with lemonade were not nearly as good as those made with a traditional recipe. I always use sour milk , SR flour and a teaspoon of baking powder.

I find the lemonade scones lovely and fluffy. I always make them that way now, sometimes adding cheese.

I haven't seen the recipe but do make 3 ingredient scones - I may add "extras" such as sultanas or cherries (or cheese and mustard if I leave out the sugar).

SR Flour
Sour milk
Butter
Sugar

I do it by touch so no idea re weights!
I would have to buy lemonade specifically for lemonade scones.

Presumably the pop just replaces the sour milk?

I made them and they were awful. Could be me I suppose, but they didn’t rise at all.

No..bt I feel like I have b eaten them for yrs as I have seen the ad sooooooooo much it has brainwashed me, but out of curiosity I may just try them lol

The lemonade mustn't be sugar free apparently. Perhaps this was the problem?

Are they the lemonade ones? They are great, I have been making them for years on and off. I cup cream,I cup lemonade, 3 cups SR flour. You have to cut them thick, though, about an inch deep. Only 10 mins or so in oven. Don’t muck with them, just shape them with your hands and cut them out with an upturned tumbler. My little granddaughters can make them they are so easy.
