Can't bear him, gives me the creeps too. There is something odd about him. Eventually we will know.

Never been a Cliff fan, but my sister was. She has never forgiven me for drawing a moustache and glasses on a huge poster of him she had up in her bedroom - and that was about 65 years ago !!!!!!

Well of course he loves the adoration! Name a famous person who doesn't.

His dress sense is appalling and embarrassing. His voice sounds 83. Time he retired. He just loves the adoration though.

I have never liked him tbh.
Many people i know look good for their age,then again they have never married or had children.
NO STRESS THERE THEN.

Well if I get to 83 and look anywhere near as fit as Cliff I will be more than happy.

It’s quite funny. How many of us would put ourselves up for public viewing just to be called names and compared with others?
I guess I would if I had as many fans as Cliff does and people willing to pay me for appearing. Otherwise I’m grateful for the anonymity. I’m going to a concert this autumn, so I’m just hoping he stays fit and well till then.

Never been a fan but felt very sorry for him over the coverage of his UK home being searched by police. I think he looks his age nowadays and always think it's a shame he's never felt able to have an open personal life whatever that might be. Photos released from his latest calendar are cringeworthy.

I much prefer vibrant Mick Jagger to insipid Cliff, regardless of wrinkles. I find there's something reptilian about Cliff!

Always felt he was a very poor substitute for Elvis. Seen him a few times live as my friends still like him. The last show he did I went and it what I imagine visiting Lourdes would be, lights dimmed, everyone with these candles swaying, felt it was very creepy. He is stick thin so carries his fashionable clothes well, he is made up and hair died as lots of performers do, but I thought he looked his age despite that.
Felt very sorry for him the way the press and BBC treated him though, that was a disgrace and must have driven him to breaking point.

When I was a little girl my Dad asked me who I liked the best. Cliff or Elvis. I said Elvis and I still think that way, apart from Elvis's dodgy private life.
Also if I had Cliffs money I would have stuff done to make me look younger when Im 83.

Ahh now Adam Faith , Elvis and the Stones were on my wall I never as a young one (see what I did there) felt any allegiance to Cliff Thought he was a goody two shoes and never changed my opinion then when he started being a bit preachy it was worse I think he thought he was the British Elvis and no one could be that

I do like him and used to love the Young Ones. He always looked young, like Paul McCartney. It’s good that a British singer was so popular and I don’t think he particularly sought the limelight anymore than any other performer. He’d be a bit strange if he didn’t. I remember many years ago he went out with Sue Barker, the tennis player.

And yet he has always given 10% of his income to charity. Let's face it, we don't know anything about him (or any other celebrity) apart from the face he shows us.

When Cliff started up it was always thought he used to try to copy Elvis to a certain degree

Of course he copied Elvis. The Beatles copied Buddy Holly and Little Richard and the Stones were heavily influenced by Chuck Berry, Howlin’ Wolf and John Lee Hooker.
