Surely there can be only pros, apart of course from the logistics of actually relocating which can be stressful/exhausting. How lovely for you all to support and help each other in the coming years. As I'm on the other side of the pond I couldn't advise on districts/areas and so forth however 20 mins driving distance seems to be the 'magic' formula here ( not too close/ not too far).
