Questions from children you just couldn't answer!

Going round a particularly difficult roundabout when dd, aged 4, pipes up from the back the car with “I need to know how God makes people.’ I don’t think I ever answered her.

My dd, when small, asked me if deaf people could hear themselves think. 😳

My elder daughter, when aged about 2, asked me, "what colour are the holes in my jeans?".

From the back seat while I was navigating a very busy M5. ‘Who made the motorway - I know it was a road man (!) but what was his name?’ I didn’t and still don’t know.

My 4 year old son asked the lady on the meat counter at Waitrose ‘How do you get the meat off the the animal without hurting it?’ The look of horror on her face 😳
No surprise that he is a vegetarian.

My daughter, then aged 8, asked an eminent astrophysicist at an Open University open day, what caused the Big Bang.
Fair play to him, he attempted an explanation for an 8 year old whilst the rest of us watched him squirm, with me silently thankful that she didn't ask me.
He compared it to opening a bottle of lemonade. Suddenly there's a lot of fizz and bubbles.
She seemed content with that.

From one of my pupils aged six whose three year old sibling had had her legs amputated because of sepsis.

“ Where are her legs now Miss” ?

At Sunday School once, I was asked by 8 year old identical twins if God was a man or a woman…. (I replied with the question “Does it matter?”. They replied ”no”!)

My 4 year old DD suffering from chicken pox rapidly followed by whooping cough that lasted months asked me: "Mum ... why doesn't god make me better?" Why indeed.

Why can't I see my own eyes? From my son when he was 4.

My DGD asked me while I was peeing if I had a long bottom?.I queried her because my backside is not small.
