Where to buy dressing gowns

I have a Christies [like the towels] from an outlet shop it washes like their towels very well but a bit faded after6 years. I wear it from spring to autumn I don't think it would be warm enough in winter.

Thanks to everyone who has come up with suggestions. I will look at them all.

I had a very nice towelling robe some years ago but the hair brush kept catching threads of it. I now have a onesie which I find keeps my legs warmer than a dressing gown can.

I’m surprised at your remarks about the White Company . I have a navy towelling dressing gown from them that I have had many years. It’s still in great condition , washed regularly and comes up like new. I wood have always recommended them. Perhaps I was lucky ?

Are you just searching using ' towelling dressing gown' as a search term? Might you get better results if you replaced 'dressing gown' with 'bath robe'?

I have dressing gowns from White Company and Marks & Spencer’s and Next all good quality and wash extremely well.

I usually buy from Lands end. I had one that had the long threads that you describe but just once.

Ramblingrose22, I think of anything made from cotton towelling as a bathrobe - rather than a dressing gown. I only wear mine after a shower, until I get dressed. It's good quality from the White Company.

I was going to suggest The White Company, but I am on my third towelling dressing gown from them and the quality has definitely slipped.

I bought one from this company www.soakandsleep.com/turkish-cotton-bathrobes.html over 10 years ago. It has got some loose threads lately on the cuffs but I just snip them off. I don't know if the quality is still the same, so many companies seem to have lowered their standards.

Meant to say, haven't bought this but i do intend to as other items from them have been very good.
