Good Morning Mick and everyone from London. It’s another grey morning.

Safe journey grandMattie enjoy your meet up.
Have a lovely holiday Brook.

Mick hope your iron infusion goes well.

karmalady I googled your plant and I think I’m going to get one of those.

We leave London for home this afternoon and it’s been a lovely trip. This morning we are going to attempt the 311 steps up the Monument. It’s near to our hotel so should give it a go. Yesterday we did lots of walking and visited three markets. We bought Baby B a rag doll from Hamleys for her birthday this week. Last night we had a very tasty Thai meal at a restaurant near Kings Cross Station.

Have a lovely day everyone and thinking of those struggling with illness and worries. 🌻🌻

Good morning from chilly Colchester where there's snow in the forecast.
A walk to Aldi for a few bits and a pile of ironing are today's tasks. DH will go to the gym this morning. He needs to buy more paint for his new shed doors but it's too cold to apply it.
Beef stew and dumplings tonight.
Love to all 🦩 x

Good morning all from cloudy but bright Harrogate
That’s some journey GrandMattie enjoy it!
Hope you have a better day today Marydoll those are lovely pictures Ashcombe
Today is again a day of telephone 📞 calls. 2 admin, one from hospital consultant and 2 from my sisters. Also hoping to pick up a free dehumidifier! Given by someone on freecycle
Have the best day possible folks

Morning Mick, morning All from a cloudy corner of Somerset.

Cleared some surplus to requirements ‘stuff’ from the loft yesterday and did some much needed tidying before family arrived to give Mr C his birthday gift of two nights away with a very special day. A very generous gift, we’ll have to think hard about the practicalities though. Our teenagers raided my charity pile which is now much smaller and their Dad took two surplus to requirements garden chairs. A garden table will go in their direction when there’s room in his vehicle to take it.

Mr C has a blood test this morning, a delivery of new, more comfortable, garden furniture is due otherwise no real plans except I must remember to finish the grocery order. Maybe add to the charity shop pile.

Hope the infusion helps mick and there is good news for your husband urms. Safe journey grandmattie and anyone else on the move.

Take care everyone. Hope Monday is kind to us all.

Good morning all from a wet Black country.
Gosh there are some real early birds on here today..
We've had a text to say tickets for our hols have arrived so will go and pick them up and take in the passports.
Safe travels those on the move, best wishes for anyone celebrating and virtual hugs where needed.

Thinking of everyone with worries and struggles, hope today is gentle and take care all whatever the day brings 💐

Good morning all and it’s bright and frosty her on the Suffolk coast. Lovely to be back by the sea.

Yesterday we left Essex early and had a good run up. Did a few hours of gardening, mostly cutting down the large pampas. Aching this morning.

Not sure what we’ll do today but a dog walk along the beach after breakfast will start us off.

Urms I hope your news continues to be good 🙏.

GM have a troublefree journey and enjoy your break. You certainly deserve it.

Marydoll take it slowly today and enjoy your empty.

Mick your infusion should perk you up

Ash lovely pics.

Take care all 🌷

Morning all from West Oxfordshire. It feels a bit cold. Today should be a normal Monday with a trip to Waitrose, a bag of things for the Charity shop and laundry. I also have WI admin to do as the AGM approaches. OH has a telephone consultation today for one of his medical issues. Have a good day everyone, especially those with difficult appointments.

Good morning everyone from DD1s in Cambridge where it looks like we’ve a bit of blue sky amongst the grey
Hope all goes well for you today mick and you feel better afterwards
We’ve had a lovely busy weekend here, but today we’re off to Gatwick for our flight to Spain late afternoon. It’ll be good to get some warmer weather and a rest!
Safe travels gMattie hope the journey goes well and you enjoy your trip away

Good morning from a dull drab South Downs.

Everything crossed for ug. I shall be thinking of you.

Have to dash as dog is desperate.

Teriyaki ginger trout and stir fry veg, for dinner.

Thank you for all of your birthdays wishes yesterday. We had a lovely lunch. Waiting for dgd to arrive for breakfast efore I walk her to school

Despite the dire weather forecast it isn’t frosty here, just damp and 2 degrees.
Grandmattie, enjoy your journey, the stretch through Northumberland is so beautiful.
Marydoll take care, vertigo is dreadful.
Georgesgran, I’m a few miles south of the City so not that far from you.
I’ll read your posts later. Have a good day.

Morning all

It looks cold with a light frost outside, my phone tells me it’s 0°

Off to the gym this morning, then I have some bits and bobs to sort out long with some online shopping (I want to be organised in case we manage to book a last minute getaway)

Safe journey grandMattie , hope all goes well with your infusion Mick

MaryDoll sorry you are yet again laid low (((hugs)))

Fingers crossed that DH has more reassuring news Urmstongran 🌸
Have a good day folks 🙋‍♀️🦩

Good morning from a bright, cold (love it!) south Cornwall where the sunrise is unusually bright pink, with a rainbow intermingled. Been painting my kitchen cupboards since 6am, having made myself wait 24 hours for the first coat of Antibes (bright green) chalk paint to dry. Looking fabulous!

Last evening my daughter-in-law delivered a roast chicken dinner tp my door, which was very sweet of her. Today I feel the lure of St Ives but may restrain that and press on with the painting.

I love train journeys too - sometimes I buy a Cornwall Day Ranger ticket and go to and fro the lovely little stations all over the county, all day.

Interesting skies here, too, fancythat. These are the views from my bedroom windows this morning.

Good morning all, I too was up at 5.30am!

Good luck with your infusion, Mick, hopefully it will perk you up.

Nothing to report. DH is golfing and I spent yesterday in bed, much of it sleeping. The vertigo was horrendous.

GM, safe journey. BO' ness is on our bucket list, becauseI would like a trip on the heritage railway.

Have a good day folks.

Good morning from down South.
Dry. But red sky in morning, bright orange, out one window? And pinkish red sky out the opposire one? So does that mean it will rain?
Not even sure what I am going to do today.
Good health to everyone.

Good morning, a damp start to Monday here in Wiltshire.
Enjoy your travels GM, I love travelling by train., something I rarely do.
A quiet week for me until Friday when I have a watercolour weekend to enjoy! Sometime this or next week the people coming to do my patio and the carpenter are starting so it’ll be anything but peaceful so I much make the most of it!
Have a lovely week everyone xx

Good morning from a cloudy but dry Torbay.

The infusion should perk you up, Mick. DH had one of Zoledronic Acid last week for his osteoporosis, which he is given annually.

Safe travels, grandMattie! I always enjoy long journeys by rail but catering can be haphazard so better to go prepared. A break is just what you need at the moment.

I have a Move It Or Lose It Class this afternoon plus overdue tidying at home!

Wishing you all a good week! 🦩🥰🦩💐🦩

Good morning all from Polmont where it's currently 3° and dry at the moment. Grandmattie safe journey. Are you being picked up? There isn't a railway station at Bo'ness. Mick good luck with the iron transfusion.
Yesterday was a fun day with dgs1. Dd and Sil came to get him about lunchtime.
Today is a very early start as dd has to go into her office. Grandma's nursery is set up for later. Have a good day all.

Another early riser here, good morning everyone from a cold Essex by the sea.
Safe travels GM, have a lovely break.
Housework and washing here today and hopefully read some more of my book. It's not gripping me but I must finish it (Two Storm Wood if anyone's interested).
Let's hope that Monday is a good one xx

Good morning, cloudy, rain and cold in s somerset and better than bland

Pottering yesterday included attending to over 70 sanseviera plants in around 35 pots, 14 varieties. I only had to sort one out, I had overwatered and there was a consequence, I was left with the inner few leaves and no roots. Repotted now and it looks well. I started the collection by buying one, they always consist of several tight together, all with micro roots, in one pot. I split every time and they now have decent roots, are making babies and growing and will now be left without disturbing for years to come. Watering sparsely, twice in winter and monthly in summer

Water butts will be filled this week, reassuring to have 650 litres of rain water for this summer. Already the soil is dry

Good morning from a moonlit E Kent. All the best with your infusion, Mick.
I’m off first thing to Bo’ness, an 8 hour train journey. (I’m visiting one of DH’s school friends; he spoke at the funeral.) Fortunately, I don’t have to cross London, just walk across from st. Pancras to Kings Cross stations.
I’m getting a sandwich here, I get fretful 😟 if I don’t have something sorted before I leave.
Have a good day all. Carpe diem 🦩🦩🦩🦩❤️

Good morning from the West Midlands. Its dark and wet here too. Another early bird here due to busy day ahead. Book club, then lunch celebrating a friends birthday, dinner with family for granddaughters birthday , then pilates. Have a good day.
