I did indeed flush tissues down the loo.
I no longer do so, I can confirm.

Maybe a badge for loo brush clique? A secret handshake, something like a scrubbing under the rim option? May need work though.......

I just give in an extra flush or two and it’s good to go.
And I put loo cleaner round the bowl twice a week or so.

If I were in a clique would I admit it? However, I come down in favour of loo brushes. What is the alternative?

I always hated loo brushes, couldn’t look at one😬.
They are however sadly a necessity.
I found these by Joseph Joseph.
I can’t get get too excited about a toilet brush but they are far more hygienic than a traditional brush.

It rates as one of the most useless bits of kit I've ever bought.
I am however a fan of the lavatory brush.

I'd flood the bathroom if I tried that, it's too far from shower to loo!

There are those who do it seated.
And there are those who do it standing.

And the members of each of those groups never knew that there was an alternative procedure

Is sex (as in "fitted with or fitted for", not as in "popular recreational activity") relevant to each individuals choice of sit/stand wiping clique? Those "fitted with" have obstacles to reach past if they stay seated.

I only have a loo brush because my daughter ordered one online and two were delivered. I don't use it but it is very smart looking! I use the paper disposable ones that are flushed down the loo after use.

We had one but there wasn't really room for it when we refitted the bathroom.
I could sit on the toilet (with the lid down) and soak my feet in the bidet in lovely warm soapy water. Bliss.

Sorry, I haven’t read the whole thread, has anybody mentioned pedantry? I seem to remember that Pedant’s Corner was set up so that people could mention pet (pedantic) hates on there rather than set threads on fire with criticisms.
