Hyundai

Love my i10

We like our Hyundais.
We currently have the Santa Fe four wheel drive to tow our caravan, and the i800 eight seater for childminding.
Previously we had the i300 and the Trajet seven seater, which I had from new and lasted me for eighteen years.
When I finally no longer need a large people carrier our local Hyundai dealer will be my first port of call.

I think it sounds like Hyin - day
(The first y as in yellow)

If you Google pronounce nada te turbe (as 3 words). Juliet27.

And how do you pronounce your name nadateturbe?

I think it's a great ad, tickles my word-loving brain.
Were I in the market to replace my wee Škoda, I'd give Hyundai a look for sure!🚘

Hi nadateturbe, I’m in NZ at the moment, visiting family. Needless to say, I haven’t brought my Hyundai with me 😂

We have a very good Hi-un-die dealer close by. Very reliable cars, popular here in NI. We both have them.

I listened to what was supposedly the correct pronunciation- High-un-die

Then I listened to what was supposed to be the correct Korean pronunciation - Hyun-day

I shall look for a Toyota.

🤣🤣🤣

i will continue to say high and dry.
it's just a marketing ploy to get attention.
skoda did a similar thing last year.
i am not going to say what sounds like tundi to me.

Hyunday?

So all this time I’ve been saying it incorrectly.
Do you think they aren’t selling well so it’s a new sales ploy?

How are we supposed to say it?

Before I check, I've been saying High-un-die.

I learned to drive in a Hyundai pony 38 years ago, lovely car.

I love my Hyundai i20. I’ve had it ten years now and it’s been great. I’m thinking of trading it in for a new one this year.

We had one a few years ago. We said Hi-un-die. Great car it was too.

It amused us that it was ‘Hunday’ in the USA years ago. We thought they were wrong!
