Hot glue guns for yarn

Hi

Can anyone help me , I need to glue some items onto knitted items, what’s the best glue or glue gun

I don't think they work at all. Sew it on.

If it's a garment, which will inevitably stretch, sew is the only answer.
I've recently used double sided sticky tape to stick something onto a knitted project. So far so goodblush
