Who hasn’t had Covid?

I haven't had Covid in spite of gadding about, mixing in groups and giving up on the face mask as soon as it was allowed.

I have not had it either, nor have I needed to be tested.

My husband, son and 92 year old FinL have all avoided it. My son was living away when I had it, but neither my husband nor FinL were.

that's interesting, I hadn't heard that. I'm rhesus negative and haven't had Covid. I work with the public so have tested regularly all throughout. Neither my husband nor son have had it neither. Fingers crossed it continues!

Yes December 2019 both my husband and myself ill. I had a dreadful cough and so tired which i put down to lack of sleep because of the cough. Other people i talked to had the same type of symtons and their doctors wouldn't prescribe antibiotics. Lockdown then started March 2012. Only had two jabs and had an allergic reaction both times.

Not to my knowledge, my husband was very ill but tested negative twice, he was taken to hospital by ambulance and tested negative in the ambulance, when he got to hospital he tested positive after a week of illness, my daughter also had same symptoms and also ended up in hospital never tested positive, except one grandson the rest of my family got it with bad cold like symptoms,maybe we had it but never tested positive? We all took precautions and still do

Neither DH or myself have had it!

Have all of you that say you haven't had it tested regularly? If you haven't tested regularly you can't claim, categorically, that you've not been infected with the virus.
And if you haven't had it, there's no saying that you're immune. You just may have been lucky.
Both my husband and I worked throughout the pandemic, he has sailed through it, I ended up hospitalised.
For the first week of infection we lived together, slept in the same bed. Is he immune or was he just lucky? No telling!

They say some have it without getting ill - so you wouldn't test and would never know.

I havent had it despite volunteering at my Drs surgery with the vaccination rollout, flu clun8cs and 3 lots of invigulating at my local school for Mocks and summer exams. DH caught it on the last day of exams at the end of June. He felt poorly for 3 days with a high temp and bit of a cough but then was ok.
I've been out & about...to my local senior cinema, mosaics class and church.
I do take Vitamin D &B for my depression which DH doesn't bur whether its due to that or not I have no idea

As far as I know, I never have I am a teacher in a six- form so test all the time. I came into very close contact at least 5 times, so have isolated but I never caught it.
I always wore a mask and stuck to every rule, I have always been a handwasher, not just when it’s on trend to do so, I have always carried hand sanitiser ( I commute to work and trains are disgusting) and I tend to social distance because of anxiety, I eat very healthy and workout to stay fit and a healthy weight. I don’t know if any of that helps, but has clealy not hinder .

I have had the virus only once so far.

All my family brothers sister my inlaws my sons my daughter in laws my son in law all my nieces nephews grand children friends & acquaintances have all had it. But myself and my daughter haven't as far as we know. We have tested every cough and sniffle nothing yet

OH hasn't.' Had it but I have and several friends have had it on returning from holiday. Far more this year than in the previous 2 years. I think I caught it in Manchester airport. We are testing every month for ONS and our last result says we have antibodies at a higher level. Maybe this gives us a false sense of security . We have also had an appointment for our flu jab at end of September

We havent-technically, but back in december 2019 (xmas) i was very ill (went hosp two days in a row)with very bad symptoms that now are evident could indeed have been covid(we'd recently visited Italy) and then my sons were ill same symptons a few days after me& my grandson also and he went to Italy with us- he passed it to rest of his house also- so yes maybe we had it when we didnt know it was even a 'thing' - my G.P's nurse thinks so.But officially, no.?

I HAVE had it. However, I was recently with numerous people (before I knew I had it of course) and interacted with them and (miraculously) I didn’t infect anyone. Plus I was the ONLY one out of a group of ten who caught it from one other group member. I’m beginning to believe that there is something in our individual DNA that dictates whether or not we catch it because, as many of you have stated, I know un-jabbed or minimally jabbed folks who go all about unmasked and haven’t gotten it.

We never have flu jabs so it's not a factor with us. We never get flu either - which was why we were so surprised to have a bad bout of flu just before Covid was recognised. We had tests for antibodies before the Covid jabs started but were told we hadn't had Covid. We did used to test but haven't for a little while now. It's perfectly possible that we have had it and not known it though.

I’ve had it twice and had absolutely no idea I’d got it the first time. My son was sent a random ONS CPR test a couple of months afterwards and he had no idea he had it either.
My very elderly parents haven’t had it, but they have had all four vaccines.

I meant to add that we have both had the annual Flu jabs every year since they first began. I wonder if that has helped build up our immunity over the years. We never get colds either.

I've not had Covid (to the best of my knowledge) - nor has my husband.
He is Clinically Vulnerable, so we have and still are, quite careful. I'm still using sanitiser in every shop and carry my own in case there is anywhere no longer providing it.
We don't mix much (our relatives are hundreds of miles away), and don't eat out.
