Ah, when can we expect the ads for men with leaky bladders?

The Viagra are at kids eye level at the pharmacy.But I guess they are less likely to ask about that as opposed to TV. But you could also argue that many day time viewers might use viagra? As long as it's not on the kids shows.

I used to work somewhere very busy, with a 15 minute window of time in the afternoon, just before we got busier still.
So, we would sit and have a cuppa.

Every ad that came on informed me and my male colleagues that one in four women have a leaky bladder.
You could cut the atmosphere with a knife sometimes.

Hi, MissAdventure yes I agree that I would be uncomfortable explaining it in any detail to any child who enquired however they are almost all taught the basics at school already and so it would probably be possible to link in a short explaination to whatever they already know. I just think it would be best to show the ads throughout the day rather than hide them. A few years ago I was mortified to sit through period related adverts but these don't bother me or anyone else I know now. I'm not sure that many children actually watch live tv days but might be wrong and I'd hope that the tv companies and advertisers wouldn't put adverts for Viagra on during children's tv programmes.

I always think of that kind of time as being when children are about.
It would be pretty hard to explain (no pun intended, for once!) what viagra are for.

Hi, I'm just wondering why the time of the day should be an issue? Not everyone needing Viagra will be watching the adverts after 9 pm and showing it earlier in the day even before 6 pm might give folk the chance to get to the chemist and collect some before they close! If we have to have adverts about virtually every other body mis function then we might as well get used to these, too.

Or, a lorry was hijacked today, and the thieves made off with 2 pallets of viagra.

I’ve only seen “viagra” advertised late at night. I think some of them are witty and funny.
There was one about a man dancing down the stairs to cockney rebel. It always intriguing me, he left a woman upstairs, dances downstairs and she’s there before him. Or is it another identical woman.
But the best one is a syrupy rendition of 500 miles. It has a cartoon couple in bed then they are wrenched apart and the man struggles to get back to her. All very symbolic and strangely moving.
I think it’s good things are more open now.

Man in chemist. “ viagra, can I get it over the counter”
Chemist, “if you can get it over the counter you don’t need viagra!”

Lucky wow! Poor guy at 90 he could have gone with a smile on his face!

My FIL at the age of over 90 was refused viagra because of his heart condition when he took up with a woman 30 years younger than he was. So there are medical contraindications - or maybe the doctor was just a spoilsport!

They are on sale next to the till in my pharmacy. You would think there would be some regulation.
My GD saw the advert for tena ladies and thought it was a hoot. Her mother just gave me a wry look and I knew she was thinking we all get there someday young lady, especially in exercise classes.

No you're not a prude, you have standards travelsafar. I can't imagine any decent person thinking that was acceptable.
I would write to the advertising standards people if I were you.
