Waking up to find I’d dropped a couple of dress sizes.

Evening time in my dressing gown, feet up on the sofa and a good film on TV.

Relaxing in the sun on a sunbed at a secluded beach with a cocktail and a good book.

Sunny spring day in an English wood. The scent of Bluebells and May blossom on the air.

A walk on a dry autumn day. The sun catching the red leaves and a warm scarf to snuggle into

Cream tea in the back garden with my AC's and GChildren relaxed and laughing.

Dozing on a sandy beach, listening to the lapping waves and seagulls in the distance.

But for now? My husband stopping his latest (very noisy) diy project of drilling the concrete roof on the shed!! Poor neighbours, poor me?

Being a child again with no worries and no idea what was going on in the rest of the world! Then playing in the woods in North Wales and gathering tadpoles from the pond.

Same Grandmadinosaur except that my sun bed would be in my garden, and every single job that needed doing would be completed - no weeds, fences and shed freshly painted, patio gleaming, grass cut, watering and pruning done, all plants that need it planted, etc. That would be my heaven, I’ve never achieved it all yet.

A day free from pain enjoying sunshine and fresh air. Much like today

A short break in Venice. Being whisked from the airport by speedboat and feeling the salty wind on my face.
Feeling excitement to see the famous Venice buildings, canals and bridges spread out in front of me.
Being serenaded by a Gondolier as I sit back and take a ride under the warm Italian sun.

The mattress is turned, the mattress topper is washed and back on the bed, clean sheets dried outdoors - sheer bliss!

Feet up, cup of tea, a good book and the ability to eat lots of cake without any ill effects in the teeth, health or weight-gain departments. Not too much to ask for, surely?

After seeing some college reunion photos the same as GSM.
All who had been thin myself included had ballooned and the one who fought with her weight was like a rake and all toned up. She looked at least 10 years younger than the rest figure wise but not as jolly or content somehow.

To be able to eat chocolate whenever I want with no ill effects or putting on weight.

nadateturbe, we must be on the same wavelength today. As I opened the thread, exactly what you said was what I was planning to write! I'd add Ben & Jerries, Haagen Daz and carrot cake to the list too! Of course, I'd have to be without diabetes and the auto immune thing that is attacking my mouth at the moment to be able to really enjoy all those things.

Sitting on the sunny deck of a cruise ship, just watching the sea, glass of bubbly in hand - hope to be doing that in August!
