Ordinary everyday things I no longer know how to do

I just realised today that even if I was minded to look for a job I wouldn't have a clue how to go about it.
When I was job hunting jobs were advertised in the paper and you sent in your CV or requested an application form, filled it in and posted it back. Then you waited for a letter saying you had or hadn't been called for an interview.

That all seems to have changed.

What other ordinary things would posters not know how to go about in this digital age.

I'm not even 60 yet shock

Another one here who can't do a roly-poly now. Tried to show gd age 3 how to do it on carpet then thought better of it. Wasn't sure if my head would still have been attached to torso if I'd continued. Likewise the bars in the park. I was going to show gc how to tipple over then thought better not. When AC were young they were impressed I could sit on them go backwards over and loop off. What happened to that person?

Now having two twelve year old granddaughters, one who lives with me, I have to say I’m quite an expert in this strange phenomenon.
I can see that for little girls and their friends, it’s quite fun, but you would be amazed at the amount of grown people, prepared to humiliate themselves for approx one minute of fame.
Enormous fat people dancing around in their underwear seems to be a favourite

Not read all the posts … can you turn your water supply off; turn your electricity on if it trips; change a fuse - I might just be able to do it. wink

I can do the first too but most plugs are sealed units now.

I can't skip any more but I was assured by a very little DGD that I'll be able to skip when I'm older
