Perhaps widening your circle of associates would broaden your mind and open up the possibility of seeing things from other perspectives. Constantly staying within the same circles, swapping thesame opinions and experiences simply gives you confirmation bias of what you already think you know.

What's really ironical is that whilst women are being reassured that the trans community just want to live their lives in peace and harmony, with no threat to anyone else; the trans activism community is steadfastly reigning a war of terror on anyone that they perceive as being "transphobic" or "not the right sort of gay":

This demand for acceptance and tolerance, by the TRA community, doesn't appear to extend to anyone else does it? Not women. Not lesbians. In fact not anyone who understands simple biology.

Agreed SueDonim, the demographic of MN is largely younger than her on GN and even just a cursory glance at their Sex & Gender discussion forum would give a good indication of the strength of feeling about it.

Threats and violence are never acceptable, like trans women receiving death threats is not acceptable. They weren't even using their platforms to shout their views or printing t shirts with wearable confrontational slogans... They simply started to present differently and we're noticed in their communities.

If that was the case then surely, having obtained more social acceptance, they'd just want to get on with their own lives in peace? Instead, having obtained that acceptance, they're now violently bullying, threatening and cancelling anyone who thinks differently to them. The list of high profile scalps they've collected, and sought to destroy, grows ever greater. Peace, harmony and acceptance is definitely not the goal now.

You think the people who received death threats are the same people giving them? Thsy are all in on this behaviour? Encouraging it?

I'd ask those who reject the scientific facts of biology ie that sex is determined at the moment of conception and is immutable what other science do you reject? Do you reject climate change, evolution, vaccinations, medical treatments developed by scientists, gravity, that babies are produced by the melding of a large immotile gamete known as an ovum with a small motile gamete known as a spermatozoon...... the list is endless?

A natal woman is murdered every 3 days on average in the UK. Just adding for context.

I put my trust in those doctors and scientists with much more education that me who are supporting trans people. Much more research needs to be done but I think the answers will come in time.

It's amazing how many ideas people have that aren't true because they don't understand that science is not fixed, it's ever evolving in a sense.

The human brain is still not fully understood, most people don't even know that it is not solid and you cannot safely hold one without filling it with stabilising chemicals let alone understand anything about how it actually works.

Yes you are right but I don't think that being a sex worker make any difference. It just makes them easier to isolate. I'm not about to judge sex workers although I don't like that that trade exists and... Too many possible tangents

I'd think Professor Robert Winston who pioneered IVF and achieved the first birth using this method might have a teensy bit of knowledge as regards sexual reproduction. He states sex is immutable, fixed at conception. Who are these esteemed doctors and scientists who know better, that male DNA can be transformed into female DNA? Presentation of stereotypes is an external presentation, it alters not one jot the internal science.

Actually, many of them do think that the small minority of TW who you appear to support are harmful to the trans cause. Many of them accept that they are not women, but do not either raise it as a subject for discussion or wish to take part in violence to make that claim.
Many of them call themselves women, but again, see no reason to create discord by shouting about it and most of them do not try to take women’s right's in terms of sport, jobs or places of safety.
Your failure to accept that and your support for the minority who do see themselves as entitled to rights belonging to women where it categorically harms or denies women those rights, says things about you that mean I am grateful not to be a ‘sectional feminist’ or ‘your sort of feminist’.
Shame I’ve only heard you mention men or TW who commit sexual crimes with male genitalia being incarcerated in male prisons when it involved animals, oh and paedophilia, instead of when it involves rape of women.
