By definition, all grandmothers are also mothers. I regularly contribute to Mumsnet but to be honest, there is so much aggression on there, I an very hesitant to post anything there now.

MN has some really interesting threads though and very funny and quick-witted posters. In my experience it’s not as insular as Gransnet and there’s more tolerance of other posters’ views. With such a huge membership, there’s less likelihood of discussions turning into spats and comments becoming personal.
