Hard to apologise on threads!

It's impossible for threads to cater both for those at home with time on their hands and for those zipping on at the end of the day. And we can many of us be in one category one day and another the next.
It may be maddening to make a new point with no response and then find someone else saying the same thing later and arousing bags on interest, but c'est la vie.

That happens all the time winterwhite. Just one of those things.

Unfortunately what also happens is that people accuse of you doing/saying something you didn't and never come back to say they were wrong.

I find it a bit frustrating when people openly admit they haven't (bothered to?) read previous postings but proceed to comment anyway. How can one contribute constructively without having done that?

I think as well as time, it depends on what device is being used. For example, I am more likely to post, and make a longer post if I am on my desktop rather than on my tablet because I find the keyboard easier to use on the desktop.

I always make a point of reading the whole thread before commenting….

Having some of the youngsters over fóir a pizza and movie night. Got lazy and decided to order in the pizzas. The PRICE

I could have had a gourmet meal for that.

Janejudge Just done a sea dip for Pudsey about 30/ 40 women turned up and one elderly gent
It was cooooooold but we raised £100 just with a small box for donations

True, if posters dont like something they read they do that, I think it's quite tedious.

Threads do meander, following to the posters thoughts I suppose.
