I would have bought one of those light up ones….and I don’t even like gin!
I made a couple of light up bottles for GD2. I bought those cork things which contain the battery and voila, fairy lights in a bottle. I am a fairy light addict though. ?
I had light up Gin liqueurs from M&S last year. Love gin so I bought the Clementine one, the Elderflower one and the Rhubarb one. The spiced plum one will be on the list this year. Fanny I can send you an (empty) light-up bottle ? They were very pretty, shame the design has changed.
I havent drunk alcohol all year so I feel completely justified in having a drink every morning over the festive period. Work might not be so keen though.
World shattered in a matter of hours. I need to get posh advent calender quickly dont I? I decided to treat myself last year because lockdown and they were all sold out, only rubbish left. I might get a gin one.
btw nutcrackers etc. It was never really a thing here in the Uk was it? I first started seeing them in TKMaxx
I like those wooden things though with the the candles and thw hizz round. I'm not sure what they are called. There is one in Chevy Chase and the brother in law breaks it...
Does this years light up? I am confused. I had never heard of this till now and I want one. I feel you have all dangled something in front if me and then snatched it way

Yes ! Last year's did light up - I still have it and a small drop left - not because I didn't like it though! There is a button set into the base of the bottle that you press and the whole bottle lights up and the gold flakes swirl like snow when you shake it.
Right. An apology. I’ve been had. It doesn’t in fact light up. It’s just got gold leaf in it. So it’s like a snow globe. I could have sworn last year’s ones lit up? Does anyone know?
Hurray! ? It’s in stock at Ocado, and it’s also in my basket! (Both Clementine and Sugared Plum; sadly Madagascan Vanilla was - already, how? - out of stock ?) I must admit, the bottles aren’t anywhere near as nice as last year’s
Speaking of last year, M&S used it in every inch of their advertising; and I never saw hide nor hair of it in reality.
