Good afternoon my very special peoples.
Yesterday was a most troublesome day from start to finish. Toby is in intensive care as his chest is still
being drained. However, he also has a virus. That's the main worry. Until I get all the facts, I shall not be totally satisfied. After all, at eleven months, after heart surgery, the last thing he needs is a virus. His mummy and daddy were tested. They are clear.

Popping in to see if any update on Toby, will be back later. It’s another scorcher here and we are off to the garden centre shortly, I’ll leave you with this photo of a wild water lily from yesterday.

I echo your words Grandmafrench My thoughts are with soop and all the family and hope Toby is back home again with them all again very soon.

A moment’s drop in to say that life’s probably a bit stressful at the moment for the soop family, but you can see how hard we’re wishing for a successful outcome regarding baby Toby’s surgery. Everything is tightly crossed that he’ll be good as new - better than - in no time at all.

Best wishes to all, we are currently away from home, on a wee break to Broughty Ferry in Dundee.
We had a lovely drive up from Lanarkshire, beautiful sunny weather, comfortable country house hotel with pool, nice relaxing time after busy spell with children and grandchildren.

I’m feeling better today, we’ve been out to a nature reserve. The weather has been hot and sunny, I remembered sun cream and my sunhat and we had a lovely peaceful day. I’m nearly asleep now so wish you all a good night.

We are off, this evening, to our little home-from-home on the NW Norfolk coast. So will be out of internet contact until we come home on Monday.
On the way we will leave a care package/shopping on our son & family's doorstep. Our DGD (12y) who tested positive for covid last Sunday is starting to feel better, so hopefully she will continue to improve. The rest of their family have tested negative so far, so fingers-crossed that will continue until they are out of isolation next Tuesday/Wednesday. (they are so fed up, they can't wait!)

Friends, fizz and laughs Yia, what could be better ?
I took the flowers, left behind yesterday, over for DD, Imogen’s burn is healing nicely, they’re re all a bit giddy, just over a week left at school, two until their holiday.
Weeding in the garden today after chores done, rather an energetic forty minutes, the back of my legs know about it, I’m not very good at pacing myself. It always seems a long way to bend down at 5’ 11, I’ll try and be more measured tomorrow when I continue.
