Did anyone see the Thomas Markle interview? I've just watched it and he summed Harry up pretty well in terms of his behaviour.

Which bit? The bit where he said that Harry had been dropped on his head when he was a baby or the bit where he said they were going to take the stabilisers off his bike soon?

No Alegrias you've got it wrong if you think we are just talking about the flippant -humorous- bits here. We were discussing the top job in politics and TM summed Harry up by saying he should decide whether he wanted to be a royal or not. Royals are not supposed call up or write letters to the government as Harry is doing.

I thought the dress looked awful in the bust area. It did nothing for her at all. I wouldn’t be choosing Caroline Herrera for another occasion if I were Meghan ( I think she was the designer).

I thought the dress looked ill fitting too, especially around the chest area.

I thought it was a lovely colour and the colour certainly suited her. I fear my old sewing teacher wouldn't have passed the darts on the bust, maybe styles have changed but I didn't think they were well done.

Was the fabric taffeta? That is notoriously difficult to stitch. Yes, the colour was lovely.

I just read this about the designer she is famous for dressing various First Ladies, including Jacqueline Onassis, Laura Bush, Michelle Obama, and Melania Trump.

I couldn't wear that colour, my DD could as she is similar colouring to MM. As a pale red head (well it was red) it would make me look very drained but I do think it is lovely.

I didn’t see the TM interview but what you said about how he summed H up Josianne has taken him (TM) up in my estimation.

Obviously using the First Ladies’ designer of choice is her way of taking steps towards the top job then. Is there no limit to her ego?

My word she’s put on some weight, hasn’t she? I thought so in that straight dress in New York and this one just confirms it.

Just an observation. People in glass houses and all that….

It's a nice dress, I'm probably paler than her, yes that almost blue white that some redheads have. Red just seems to emphasise how pale I am.

I once had a lovely Indian GP, he was forever doing blood tests on me as he was convinced I was anaemic. One day he told me he'd been told off about how many blood tests he was doing and he said, "I can't believe how white some of you white people are particularly when you take your clothes off." I thought it was funny but I suppose some people would be offended.

But he's not deathly white like me. He's very handsome as well.

Actually choosing colours is hard, pale just makes me invisible and bright colours make me look paler. Good job I'm not bothered.

I would like my DDs colouring though, black hair, dark eyes, tanned complexion. No blue veins showing.

I don’t wear red either, but it looks lovely on other people. The dresses Nicole Kidman is wearing the pictures posted look lovely, but they fit her well.

I think the dress was borrowed, probably at the last moment, which was why it didn't fit.

In Meghan's defence, she has not long given birth (5 months ago) and all those celebrities who look stick thin a month after having a baby are either naturally skinny or poor role models for other new mums.

She looks fine to me although I didn't much like the dress the other one was better and more flsttering.

I think it takes longer to shift baby weight when you are an older mum, well it did for me. When I had my first at 18 I was back in normal clothes when I left hospital, 20 years later with number 4 it took ages and effort. Just not fair.

I'm still trying to shift mine, theworriedwell!

The weight seemed to drop off after the first ones but at 37 it just didn't.
