The Bath Oliver, one of Britain’s favourite biscuits, has been granted a reprieve, as production has restarted following an outcry over its disappearance. Some eagle-eyed shoppers had spotted the biscuit was absent from supermarket shelves in October, with owner Pladis, formerly known as United Biscuits, saying the pandemic had caused it to cease production of the British stalwart But fans of the snack, once famed for its qualities as a medical digestive, are in luck as the factory lines are now back up and running
