Nosy (but Positive!) Thread

I'm good at being a good listener and agony aunt.
Good at gardening
A good decorator.
Rubbish at saying no.

Good at:

Sorting out and setting up “low tech” (mobiles, internet, the boiler etc). DH hasn’t a clue!

Handwriting - very neat which is surprising for a “leftie” just don’t get much opportunity these days.

Laughing. I do it a lot and often at myself.

Hopeless at maths, baking, sewing.

I wish I had a proper talent, maybe singing, I love to sing, but am not very good.

I have very poor balance & zero co-ordination

3. Going to bed very late (2am)

Rubbish at getting up (10am)

1. Gardening

3 Housework

No artistic skill whatsoever

1. Reading
2. Knitting & Crochet
3. Hoarding.

I'm really bad at time management! I never know what time it is, and it always seems to be gone before I've done half of the things I meant to do! I hate being late, though - and almost always arrive early, wherever I should be. I once attended an appointment one whole week early!

Good hostess.
Cooking.
Drinking wine.
Nagging.
Taking everything to heart!

Having thought about the leg-pulling from family and friends, here are my three answers:

1. Chatting and chattering
2. Inspiring self - confidence in others
3. Prepping, cooking and overloading my family’s plates with vegetables...

I am poor at reading maps and cannot resist buying silk scarves.

Reading back over this entertaining thread it seems to me that there are people who are sure there are things they are good at and some people who are rather more tentative about their talents.

I'm good at
1. Telling stories to children in primary schools or toddler groups.
2. Making a total idiot of myself on the stage. How I miss Am Dram!
3. I'm rubbish at thinking before I open my mouth.

Today my dentist (aged about 36) told me I’d been ‘very good’. I felt about 7

1) Answering general knowledge questions when watching quiz programmes

2) Cooking

3) Junk journalling

Can't sing, but I still do it

Good at:
Acting
Singing
Writing

Bad at:
Sums, anything to do with numbers, practical stuff and being patient.

Good at:-
Hoarding
Using up leftovers
Staying up late

Bad at:-
Knocking things off my 'to do' list.

Oh yes, just realised

1 I'm good at reading stories to young children
2 Concentrating on learning a new skill (by YouTube now, mainly)
3 Perseverance in solving a mystery eg when tracing family history

Oh - could do better:
my balance is non-existent although at one time I could do the tree in yoga

1. Drawing and painting 2. Managing money. 3. Being interested in lots of stuff Not good at relaxing, sleeping, trusting people, forgiving, parties, .... the list goes on.

Okay here we go:
1. Using a computer generally - I've been using computers since I was 11 in 1980
2. Typing - 100+ words per minutes
3. Maths - I'm really really good with numbers
