At my daughter's wedding Herr Flick from 'Allo 'Allo asked me out for a drink. Arthur Brown (The crazy world of) was best man. Dave Gilmour was a guest and Kate Bush didn't make it because her son was poorly. Whilst getting autographs from school mates when she left school one lad wrote in her book that he 'would love her forever', that was Olly Murs, and Leroy from The Prodigy used to come to my house to hang out with my son.

I've just remembered that my late FIL was stuck in a very narrow London street when the lovely Katie Boyle came by. She helped him out by saying, "Oh, I think I'd better reverse," she went back quite a long way, and as FIL passed her and waved his thanks she gave him the biggest smile. He was always a little in love with her after that for her gracious manner.
