Millions callistemon. I got one too. I usually miss all the good stuff.

I had two too, didn’t open the second, gifting me millions of dollars. Apparently I also have the same name as the deceased engineer. Apparently dr Roy is accounts manager of bnp Paribas bank so me thinks he is not to be trusted.
Reported and blocked. Hope GN do something about this as some vulnerable person might be taken in.

I’ve had two also. I had one by email a few days ago - exactly the same message but different name and this chap said he was in Malta. How do I report it to Gransnet?

I've had one of those today. They must think we were born yesterday. I just blocked it.

Yes, I had one and emailed gransnet to tell them but haven't had a reply. I was worried in case someone was taken in by it and got into bother.

I only had the one. I thought scammers were meant to be clever, but this was so obvious it was painful!

It was $$$ too which I can't understand. I have had two but reported and blocked them now.

It is $$$ because the scammer is either in the States or thinks we are! Yes, you have to be a member of GN to send a PM, but there is no screening of those joining up. Any Tom Dick or Harry, (particularly the Dicks) can join and send a message. GN doesn't censor them! We are big girls now, we can delete them ourselves.

Yes I did.i blocked it.

I declined all private messages also.just in case..it wasnt working properly anyway, it only just sent me other messages as well, from january.

How do you report those?
