I have tried very hard to take to her but I’m afraid I’m with those who find her intensely annoying.

She is just too full on, too extrovert and too loud.

We do watch her programmes though if she is cruising in a part of the world we fancy going to, or places we have visited and loved.

I much prefer Joanna Lumley’s style of presenting.

Im.sure that l read somewhere recently that she will soon be retiring from the public eye?

I’ve just had a look to see if our screens would soon be JM free but apparently she’s going “to spend some time in the UK, concentrate on my music and tours and exciting new projects”.

I don't think you have to be northern to like her - I am a southerner and, as I've already said, I like her!!

I used to really enjoy watching her, but find she’s now a bit ‘blaise’. Another so called celebrity whose ‘celebrity’ status has gone to her head and is now on a permanent ego trip.
