Triangular numbers can be thought of as the numbers of dots you need to make a triangle

Can you give the number of dots in the next two triangles in the sequence?

Is that the mornings puzzle? I’m sort of flumped.

This is just a puzzle to keep people going, until I post one tomorrow.

Hint: Look for a pattern, that's another problem solving strategy.

1,3,6,10,15,21,28

1 + 2 =3
3 + 3 =6
6 + 4 =10
10+ 5 =15
15 + 6 =21
21+ 7 =28

I just realized that I'm the one who may have given it away this time (If I solved correctly? but how else can we all play without being the 'spoilers'?

There isn't any way. I just don't confirm the answer until later on, to give others a chance.

Ahh...that makes sense.....I live on the East coast of Pennsylvania, USA and about two hours from NYC, ( (epicenter of US Pandemic ). Pennsylvania is now seeing more cases too. DH and I are sheltered in place and safe at home. I look forward to your puzzles. Unfortunately, I'm not always on line and off sync time wise, but I'll figure it out.
