Loo roll etc. - good idea from Sweden!

Swedish friend tells me that some local shops are charging normal price for first pack of loo roll - but are whacking the price right up for any 2nd pack.

Ditto some shops with hand sanitiser - about 10 times more for any more than one.

Good idea, except in the case of something I witnessed last week. A man loaded up the boot of his car and then picked up some bags and went back into the supermarket

In the Mail last week a chap had made £3,000 in no time after " over-buying " toilet rolls and selling them at £15 per pack !

The Swedes always seem so practical and organised. I was amazed to find not one scrap of litter over there. I do like the idea (in theory) but it's probably unworkable.

I prefer a set limit to quantity allowed. OK, the determined can enter the shop again to get more - but that's an effort.
