Loving this..and although not sprouts/Christmas..my mum used to ring my brother at work,lunchtime to invite him to tea..whenever he said yes...she would say " lovely..I'll put the cauliflower on now"..?

Or is it that he once said, about 8 or 9, that he really liked it, and she remembered?grin

Every time we had a mea meal at my mothers, not often fortunately, she made steak and kidney pie because it was my favourite.

My husband and children used to find this hilarious, as I hate it and I always have, I never eat red meat, and fatty meat makes me heave!

Sorry, nothing whatever to do with sprouts or Christmas ?
