How could I have forgotten Last of the Summer Wine !!! I have the whole series on DVD and watch it all perhaps once a year. Also Dinner Ladies and Jam and Jerusalem.

pensionpat Fri 06-Dec-19 22:39:38

No one has mentioned my favourite - Early Doors. Superb character development.

MissAdventure Fri 06-Dec-19 22:43:34

Rising damp is a golden oldie for me.

MollyPolly60 Sat 07-Dec-19 00:11:15

Loved Rising Damp.
As we get older I now call my DH Victor as in Meldrew and he knows he is!

Fools and Horses made me actually laugh out loud
But being Scottish it’s got to be Still Game

AllTheLs Sat 07-Dec-19 09:16:45

Watching, Frazier and Cheers, The Likely Lads, Vicar of Dibley

Bellocchild Sat 07-Dec-19 09:28:57

No-one has mentioned Porridge, or Birds of a Feather.

jaybee66 Sat 07-Dec-19 09:37:17

Yes Porridge, Open All Hours , Rising Damp, The two Ronnies and Fawlty Towers. We don't watch many sitcoms nowadays though, it's usually dramas and box sets.

rizlett Sat 07-Dec-19 09:38:26

Dinner Ladies.

Mollygo Sat 07-Dec-19 09:39:10

Dads Army, Yes Minister and Yes Prime Minister, To the Manor Born, Doc Martin and Drop the Dead Donkey. At the time I like The Good Life but it wasn’t so funny rewatched.

EllieB52 Sat 07-Dec-19 09:39:42

Fawlty Towers
One Foot In The Grave
Keeping Up Appearances
Vicar of Dibley
Rising Damp
So many ........

Oh, and Victor Meldrew’s spirit is alive and well in my husbands body ?

Mollygo Sat 07-Dec-19 09:44:33

Ooh, just spotted Porridge and Open All Hours. Thanks jaybee66.
Nowadays I don’t watch much in terms of Sitcoms.
I just save Only Connect and The Last leg, Antiques Road Trip and The Repair Shop to make sure I don’t miss them.

tavimama Sat 07-Dec-19 09:47:10

So many - and a lot we have bought the box-sets to 'binge' on.

'Allo 'Allo. Porridge. Dad's Army. Blackadder. One Foot In The Grave. The Good Life. To The Manor Born.

More recently Doc Martin. Friends.

Have been watching Robin' Nest on Talking Pictures on Freeview - our 15 year old twins howl with laughter watching that.

timetogo2016 Sat 07-Dec-19 09:48:38

In no particular order - Frasier, Dad's Army, Blackadder ( particularly the Tudor series ), Father Ted, Just Good Friends, Fawlty Towers and for good measure The Likely Lads. Also have to add The Vicar of Dibley.
