Mum. I love being called 'mum' and sad that my mum isn't here for me to use it any more. Mum, to me, means a circle of light, love, reliability, comfort...everything good and welcoming. I feel really really sad that not all children have a mum who is all that and more.
Pontificating! There’s such a lot of it goes on today. I used to like exorbitant-described the amount British Gas tried to charge when they said I’d used over 1,000,000 kWh in one quarter!
I wouldn’t say it’s my favourite word - don’t think I have one - but there was a time I used to write albeit quite a lot; so much so that my boss commented on it
Chaitriona - "dree your weird" was misheard by a small family member which she used as "eat your worms", and this revised expression has continued in use for quite a few years now
