Having just watched the interview with Emily Maitlis, I just cannot make my mind up about him , I find it strange that he could not recollect having that photo taken with the girl with his arm around him , I thought he was very cautious with his answers, What do you all think ?

trisher Tue 19-Nov-19 13:11:45

Well if as he alleges he "doesn't remember" suziewoozie it would seem to be a bit of a waste of time. I would imagine that there was a lot of alcohol and other substances involved in these events so his lack of memory might be understandable.
pinkquartz It is a waste of time because it is the result of having a system where a family are regarded as being special and different and earning their privilege through birth right. If you accept the RF then you should realise they may produce people like PA. Personally I'd get rid of the lot. of them.

suziewoozie Tue 19-Nov-19 13:15:25

Wouldn’t click on a link to that piece of garbage if you paid me

trisher his memory might well come back when presented with more evidence that night otherwise go public. The FBI are infamous for pleas bargaining.

We are not talking morals here we are talking law

No. As a member of our Royal Family we have to talk morals.

Gonegirl Tue 19-Nov-19 13:23:01

We might "like it or not", but this is Prince Andrew.

(To Calendargirl)

I agree Gone in fact doesn’t a decent society and its constituents parts live far more by moral codes than it does by the legal code? I know sometimes they coincide but if I think about my everyday life, I can’t remember the last time I broke the law but my behaviour is therefore not beyond criticism.

trisher Tue 19-Nov-19 13:39:35

Anyone know how PA's finances are these days? I seem to remember Fergie having problems. Did he as well? And is perhaps his memory being influenced by the people who have given him support?
I agree about it being a question of morals (and his lack of any).

suziewoozie Tue 19-Nov-19 13:47:04

trisher his finances are dandy. £13m Swiss ski chalet bought in 2015. No one seems to know quite how.

pinkquartz Tue 19-Nov-19 13:49:25

trisher

I am very anti-Royal.
But that doesn't mean that this is not important in fact it is very important.
This could be where the public want to cull the RF to at least down to core members and perhaps altogether in th enear future.

It is also important because it is about what men do to women. And that needs to be challenged.
No more of this it has always been this way attitude that makes me despair

pinkquartz Tue 19-Nov-19 13:52:21

The RF finances are of interest.
I am waiting for a book written recently to come from the library on this topic. Hoping it will be relevant.
They don't work really apart form PC. He does have a business)
But they all have plenty of dosh hmm

Surely Prince Andrew's bodyguards must know where he was and who he was with?

Granny23 Tue 19-Nov-19 14:02:07

This posted on facebook yesterday by my friend who is a lawyer:

so if you're ever accused of a terrible crime, get interviewed and broadcast worldwide proclaiming your innocence and amnesia with a red, worried, sweaty face, as you blink, thereby setting up your case for a miscarriage of justice as you'll never find an unbiased jury. That's a tenner you owe me now.

Whitewavemark2 Tue 19-Nov-19 14:02:38

They are governed by the secrets act

suziewoozie Tue 19-Nov-19 14:03:34

Of course his bodyguards know where he was, of course they know when ever he visited JE and his sex mansions, islands and estates. Of course this information won’t be revealed.

Gonegirl Tue 19-Nov-19 14:10:09

I can’t remember the last time I broke the law

I ride my bike on the path.

pinkquartz Tue 19-Nov-19 14:13:20

Granny23

If this is true then that would be the reason why he did the interview.
I don't know if that is true.
Any lawyers around?

quizqueen Tue 19-Nov-19 14:13:47

I never liked Prince Charles much but he is the heir to the throne and it is claimed he wants to cut back in the future. So, if he scales back to just him, William and George on the payroll and all the other minor Royals getting a proper job and funding themselves and fading from the spotlight then I think most people could support keeping the Royal family.

suziewoozie Tue 19-Nov-19 14:14:34

I don’t ride a bike

Sparklefizz Tue 19-Nov-19 14:19:57

Thanks for that link Annie - shocking to read, but very informative. Pity you refuse to read it Suziewoozie, but .... [shrugs]

suziewoozie Tue 19-Nov-19 14:28:33

I’ve already heard about his private island and read what tge latest person to come forward has said about it so don’t need to ever click on the Sun

Sparklefizz Tue 19-Nov-19 14:34:09

Oh,*suzie*, then you have already read elsewhere the list of names mentioned, both men and women. Why be a snob about The Sun? I won't tell anyone you've clicked on it grin

Anniebach Tue 19-Nov-19 14:38:17

Thank you Sparkle I choose to hear what people say than read press reports.

Could be coincidence the woman decided to speak out about the island the day following Andrew said he had visited the island and had a lawyer with her. Strange a lawyer speaks out for a new client after only 24 hours .

Perhaps she has been a client for much longer and only yesterday remembered she had received an invite to the island!

suziewoozie Tue 19-Nov-19 14:53:57

Why don’t you say what you really think annie that all the women involved are lying, money grubbing, sexual predators who take advantage of poor innocent men? Poor PA so naive, so gullible, so trusting - it just breaks my heart how he’s been so abused by these harlots <sobs>

I expect all the men who came forward years later after being abused by men of the cloth were also making it all up and just after money. FFS

eazybee Tue 19-Nov-19 15:07:29

Carl Beech?

suziewoozie Tue 19-Nov-19 15:26:44

Tiny tiny difference here eazy none of the men mentioned by CB had been photographed with him ( or other young men at parties), none had admitted being friends with others in the VIP ring who organised the parties and none of them had served time already for paedophilia nor were any of them on the sex offenders register. Apart from just just like CB. Everything made up

starbird Tue 19-Nov-19 15:43:42

I don’t have a lot of sympathy for a girt “trafficked” at 17. It may be illegal to have sex with same in the USA but not in other places. She must have been very naive and I wonder if she had contact with her parents? If, and of course I cannot know the facts, she chose this lifestyle to make big bugs and hope to marry a rich man, then in many countries she would be called a prostitute. I can’t believe that she could not walk away if she wanted to.
As for Andrew saying he should not have visited after Epstein was charged, he should not have visited as soon as he saw procurement going on, regardless of the age of the girls and whether or not he participated in it.
I fee sorry for his daughters - they’ve had so much to put up with from both parents.
