Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark and wet here in Brackley this morning, my usual bus trips out to Bicester and Buckingham.
Will have usual coffees etc.
I this year , have found myself booking to see West End shows on coach trips this early ,
Planned shows in order of seeing them , Mary Poppins , Tina Turner musical ,and Sister Act which will be next August as Whoopi Goldberg appears for a short period in the show, mind you price wise that and Mary Poppin's are not cheap tickets ,and the organiser has to secure seats early, so final payments before end of year.

That is better news gilly and I hope that the slight improvement will continue. Look after yourself too mind.

Marydoll enJoy your warm peaceful day, it sounded as though you would have been doing too much had you stayed in your house.

Good morning. Doing my final packing for a few days away. The weather forecast is to be very wet and cold - so the same as here! Looking forward to a change of scene, good company and since the weather is predicted to be so poor, lots of coffee shops and lunches out. I am taking my knitting as we will not watch any tv - lots of chat and catching up.
gillybob I think about you and your DH every day and wish we could help you. Your determination a and love for your family shine through your posts, ?
As an aside, I would never have thought, before signing up to gransnet, that virtual friendships could be so meaningful, yet I always had pen pals as a child so really it is the same but different. In fact I am still in touch with one of my pen friends after fifty years.
marydoll maybe there is a parallel universe - your tablets, odd socks, books, missing necklaces ........
Have a good weekend all.

Oh Auntieflo don’t be too impressed by those 9 miles! I walk very slowly, a proper stroll. I stop to look a the Mediterranean and take it all in. My husband says he thinks I walk like a geisha! He says ‘are your shoelaces tied together?’
?

I don’t see the need to rush! I remind him we are retired with no calls on our time out here.

Marydoll an enforced rest is just what you need.

Thinking about those missing tablets. Maybe they didn’t hit the floor? Perhaps the halves got caught in your clothing (check the laundry basket ha) or shot across the work surface behind an appliance or some such?

You can tell I don’t like ‘mysteries’!
?
