Annoying Things!

Is it beyond the skills of shampoo and conditioner manufacturers to print the words SHAMPOO and CONDITIONER in large, easily visible letters so I can distinguish them without my glasses in the shower?!

Drives me insane!

Jars of pickles, or beetroot, or marmalade etc, when you just cannot get the lid off, have invested in some little round rubber things that help, but sometimes still have to resort to running the offending jar under the hot tap

I agree GrandmaKT if the shampoo and conditioner are from the same range its hard to tell them apart. I keep them in separate places in the shower, woe betide my husband if he moves them

I don't use conditioner, but I put my shampoo on before I get in the shower. The bottle stays dry, and if I need to read it, I can without having to blink away water. You're not really supposed to put it on dry hair, but it's not done any harm so far.

If I did use conditioner, I would do the same, but the conditioner would be the only bottle in the shower, so there's nothing to confuse it with.

Ring pulls where the ring comes off in your hand like the key in the corned beef tin. I don't know whether they still exist.

shysal and B9exchange, I bought my usual Max Factor mascara recently at Superdrug and the packaging had changed. No perforations in the shrink wrap and a label underneath just to say the product had been security wrapped(!) which left a horrible sticky mess and ripped off part of the design on the tube. It took me ages to get into it with scissors and a sharp knife, and I was so annoyed I fired off a complaint to Max Factor. It turned out that Superdrug had actually done the security wrap (Max Factor made the point that there was no need for this under UK or EU law), so I emailed them as well. They refunded me and said they completely understood my frustration. I did say I’d have been happier if they’d agreed to look into their packaging policy and maybe come up with something more user friendly!

The seals on balsamic vinegar and soya sauce type bottles. They tend to be a thicker waxy material and so hard to remove. I've resorted to a knife and then cut myself. Also, the weird ring pull inside the neck of same. Why??

I’ve had the same trouble as Mamacaz (bendy bottles and can’t get the seal off) also many of the 6 pinters are lopsided and don’t stand up straight.

The trick is to put an elastic band around the conditioner bottle. Why (you may ask) the conditioner one?
