Leaves - not mine!

I have had a few problems with my neighbour since moving here 2 years ago. Basically he’s a bit of an old woman's blouse, ocd and a bully. Its a long story which I will spare you, however I have coped, trying to keep on the right side of him (apart from when I told him I was fed up with his bullying tactics ?) and even agreeing to have our mutual parking area resurfaced, although I really didn't want or need the extra expense. It is now like Brighton beach. There is a red leaved plum tree in his garden. About 90% of the leaves fall on my property and are difficult to rake up over the ‘beach’. He however has a leaf blower and I notice today that his side, again, is clear of leaves having been suitably blown, many in my direction I suspect. I did suggest last week that it would be neighbourly if he blew those on my property as well?. He hasn’t taken the bait obviously! Would it be completely childish of me to deposit these leaves back onto his path? Or should I just be more principled and suck it up? Comments please (tongue in cheek emoji)

But if someone slips and falls on your wet leaves I think you may be liable. Obviously you don't want to fall either.

The front of my property is access across the quad between properties so if it's not pouring with rain, I must sweep the leaves later.

We have a bit of a problem with fallen leaves, ours I might add, but we like the trees.
Unfortunately our Sucker Upper has decided that it prefers blowing to sucking just lately, so I will go with the tip upthread, and just blow them into the borders.
Less bother and better for the garden. smile
Just thinking about what Ginny42 said about being liable, I thought I had read, (long time ago so may be wrong), that you may be sued if you cleared, say snow/leaves, and it wasn't done sufficiently.
On the other hand, if you didn't bother, then the person had to take care, because of the hazard that presented itself.

Not sure at all, whether I have explained myself clearly now.

I can see why you're irritated but I don't think I'd bother saying anything.

I get lots of leaves from different neighbours' trees. I just sweep them up.
