Shays last laugh

I thought it was awful and not in the least funny it was cringeworthy and although most people were laughing some looked worried and upset
If the mans a joker I would have thought he could have found a better joke
How did it work? Where was the recorder and how did the dead bloke know what time to set it off ? Am I being thick ?

I can’t get my head around the fact that he was able to record such things knowing he was going to be in his coffin soon afterwards.

I agree, Grannyknot. And I've been to many a funeral where laughter was more prominent than tears.

It's just hearing the voice. I don't know. I'd have been heartbroken.

It depends on the family, the deceased and the funeral. I've been to many joyful funerals that celebrate the life of the person who has died. (This made me realise, I've been to a lot of funerals in my life).

And children have to be protected from certain things, but they also live in the real world with all its complexities ...

I saw this in the Mail yesterday. Reading the comments people were saying it was hysterically funny. I must have had a sense of humour bypass.

Obviously the family and friends would probably have been aware of this recording beforehand.

I just thought it was awful.

There was a child at the edge of the grave. I hope that they understood this humour.

I suppose we've all been to a few funerals. I just wouldn't have found this funny.

I saw it yesterday (it popped up on Twitter) - just the sort of thing my FIL would have loved to have done. I liked the "Is that Reece I can hear?" Brilliant.
