Dysfunctional family. Her mother is OK no problems there, as a couple they could not have foreseen her fathers behavior. The fact that they were divorced is hardly unusual these days, once the media got at her family and exaggerated all the issues it went downhill fast.

I agree with starbird Harry needs professional help.

He is too eager to share his emotions publicly as did his mother. Megan is his wife not his mother , and remembering
how his mother exposed her two sons to the cameras , it
must have been so troubling and causing him to go to far the
other way with his son.

He needs to follow his brother’s example of separating duty
and private life.

If I found it hard to get out of bed because I was worrying about the world, I would not even bring one child into it never mind contemplating more.
That is the height of selfishness if that is what you truly believe.

Of all we read that he has said is true I truly think he has MH problems and as other posters have said he needs help.
It is sad, he latched onto Meghan as a person to give him all he needs.
I hope she realises this and is prepared to help him through it and take a back seat herself.

He is probably getting help for MH problems. It's incredibly common. Let's face it, none of us know them.

The problem is that relatives were paid by the media and coached to say something controversial and damaging about Meghan. A few thousand dollars make most ordinary people. very loose tongued, revealing more than they intend.
It would have been ideal for Harry to find a family like Kate’s that are squeaky clean and know the score, the fact is that not many eligible young women want to live the life of a Royal, with intense media attention 24/7.

Harry knows the ropes. He knows what the public expects in return for funding them. Instead of encouraging and helping Meghan to ease into royal life he's jumping on her bandwagon in a wave of self pity. Meghan is a good public speaker but makes it all about her while Harry gazes adoringly from the sidelines. If they want a celeb lifestyle they should relocate to America and fund themselves.

This is the point as merlotgran has said. Harry knows the score about what is expected from the royals in return for their life of wealth and privilege.

The problem is his wife appears to have ignored advice she must surely have been given about how to conduct herself as a royal.

As long as Harry remains besotted with her I fear nothing will change.

But not too hard that he can't still lead the luxury lifestyle of exotic holidays and private flights etc. If he can't get out of bed in that multi million £ cottage of his, with no job to worry about, no mortgage or bills to pay and everything his heart desires at the click of a finger (including all the mental health professionals that money can buy) then what hope for anyone else?

Yes me too JenniferEccles there are faults in all families. People say and do things out of sheer desperation . I cannot for the life of me understand why she has denied her own father the chance to meet his son in law and grandson.

I was shocked to read that 8 Range Rovers and their own personal Range Rover were shipped out to South Africa for the trip -because they could not find vehicles in South Africa secure enough. Luckily it was paid for by the manufacturer of Range Rover - but surely that company is doing RF a great ''favour'' here? Must have cost a fortune. (With so much crime in S.A. I think secure cars are, in fact, obtainable). What about that carbon print ? - will they be shipped back again?

Just because people do a job that involves being in the public eye, it doesn't mean that they are made of steel and what she has had thrown at her is horrendous.
I don't think she has any option but to sue, and we all know what the Daily Mail is about and who owns it.
