annsixty the BOY? he hasn't been a BOY for a long time.As my granny would have said he's all the man he'll ever be .As the daughter of a man who lost BOTH his parents before he was 14 ,who was split up from his siblings and they were put into different childrens homes at different ends of Scotland ,who then went through a war and who was a wonderful caring hardworking man all his life .i dont recognise the "boy" still struggling with his mothers death decades on.
Maybe my dad just didn't have the luxury of wallowing and had to get on with earning a living and bringing up a family as well as making a home for the sisters he was seperated from for 12 years .I dont really have sympathy for this overprivileged man ,he could do with a large dose of reality !

The Royal family were named in the hackings back then. They stayed out of the legal actions. Now Harry has decided to persue it

I doubt Charles would have done that Annsixty, not claimed he had sacrificed his life for Harry.

It hasn’t been said when the alleged phone hacking took place but when there was the trial and the News of The World
closed it was said Kate and William were named among so many others, they didn’t sue.

Unless I misheard the news, doesn't the phone hacking go back a few years?

I have a S who has MH problems there for I know of what I post.
I think the boy needs help, although to be honest he is probably getting it.
I lost a parent at age 11, I would say in one way or another it has affected my whole life, the most stressful one being left with an over possessive mother who told everyone how she sacrificed her life for me so therefore I should have done the same.
I wonder if the PoW put Harry under the same pressure?

I don't understand the timing though as they have had a great tour in South Africa and to raise two claims within 24 hours?

As for the letter, somehow Meghan's friends are allowed to go to the press but when her letter does there is a problem?

My view remains the same. I dislike this kind of sustained attack on a couple who may not be to everybody's taste, who are seen as over privileged etc

His petulant behaviour was seen as "cute" and laddish when he was a young man. But now he has outgrown any excuses for his childish behaviour

I'm curious about how many of us who post about this couple, will have had either adult children who have had mental health problems , or will ourselves have experienced them. That covers a whole gambit from depression/anxiety, drugs/alcohol dependence or abuse, to psychosis, schizophrenia, personality disorder etc etc.
Most of us will have either been there ourselves, or have a loved one who has or indeed is, in the midst of that kind of pressure.
Some posters here suggest that Harry has m.h. problems. I don't believe I know enough to reach that conclusion. I would say though that research shows children who lose a parent in adolescence, children whose parents have acrimonious divorces, have poorer adult m.h. than those who are more fortunate.
