Well I am English going back many generations and was have been a huge fan of the Queen until recently. Over the years I have been told over and over how well informed the Queen is about all things political and historical. If she signed something that was ruled unlawful there is no way she didn't know what was going on. And no, contrary to popular thought, she cannot be forced to sign a paper.

His family are very good friends with David Cameron - so if anything I would suggest it was to help deflect attention away from his recent foot in mouth episode. Who knows what favours were asked and granted behind closed doors though - not us plebs, that’s for sure.

No one needed a law degree to know Johnson was doing something dodgy. Until the judgement no one was sure if it was technically legal or not, and whether therefore he could have got away with his dodgy plan. There can be no one more distressed about these unpleasant allegations that Andrew's family. That poor girl can't even get engaged to her long term boyfriend without nasty minds deciding it's all just a distraction.
As for the Queen, at the time she agreed to Boris's request the English court system had already said it was legal. The Supreme courts findings were after the event.
