Wedding gift

Hi, well it all depends how much you like your nephew and how much cash you can spare really.
I would think £100 and if you want to add money from your mother £150.
If this is too much, alter the amount accordingly.
If too little, ditto.?

I’m not as generous as lemongrove. I would give £50 from each, £100 in all.

I gave my D's £50 for their 50th b/days !

That made me smile EllanVannin- my dad gave six squeaky clean £10 notes on my 60th!

It is impossible to say - we have no idea whether you live on a fixed low pension and live in sheltered housing, or if you have a six bedroomed mansion with a swimming pool.

I have also given slightly more to younger couples, and less to those who have reached a mature age and accumulated "stuff".

I would think that £100 would be a reasonable gift. If you want to give something from his gran then perhaps a similar sum?

I agree - £100 or £150 depending on what you can afford and what sort of relationship you have. I would also add a small, personal gift, though - maybe a photograph album, or some little trinket, maybe using it as a way to present the money in an attractive fashion.
