Dragonfly that’s good news. Take lots of care! ???

Alygran Tue 03-Sept-19 12:29:51

Good news Dragonfly. Hope you get your paperwork quickly and go home to rest. flowers

Marydoll Tue 03-Sept-19 13:09:17

Dragonfly, I just popped in to see if there was any news of you. It's so good to hear from you. flowers

soop Tue 03-Sept-19 13:44:55

dragonfly Lovely of you to update us lot. The drain can be a bit of a nuisance. Mine kept working free. Never the less, it does a good job. I shall remain uniboob. It has never troubled me. I've a first class prothesis and, it is comfortable. Nevertheless, at the start of the evening...I release it and return it to it's posh specially moulded box, tied with a pink ribbon.
Get lots of rest. Enjoy being pampered. Bless you. flowers sunshine

Hello Marydoll. How are you keeping these days? smile

N&G Every time I see a photo of "our boys", I think, wow! This is the best yet. They are hugely photogenic.

callgirl1 Poor Lynne and poor you. We have said hello to David. Just two campers this morning. Not surprising, it awful dreich.

Hope you make a speedy recovery dragonfly ??. I thought I would send you chocolate instead of flowers. Hope it’s ok ?

soop Tue 03-Sept-19 13:54:25

grannyqueenie...as always, lovely photographs. Thank you.

Care home visit went as well as can be expected. Our dear pal spent almost half an hour trying to remember a particular location that he's stored away in his memory box. We gathered, as we were leaving, that it isn't in Scotland...it could be in Switzerland! I ask you. grin

Baggs's biscuits are addictive. I hid the last one and yearned for it last night. Then, without a word of apology, MacSporran confessed to having happened across it and scoffed it later that same day. hmm

cornergran Tue 03-Sept-19 14:01:00

Good news indeed dragonfly. Rest and be pampered now. flowers.

Doodle Tue 03-Sept-19 14:06:21

maw what a lovely family photo you posted on the birthday thread. I’m sure it was all paw would have wanted with his family all around.

Oh soop. I’m sure McSporran would have given you his last Rolo but Baggs’ biscuit was just too tempting ?

Doodle Tue 03-Sept-19 14:07:11

panache so glad you are enjoying your new home. It must be such a relief for you both to be there. ?

soop Tue 03-Sept-19 15:58:25

Doodle hmm wink

Panache Moving into your lovely new home was such a wise choice. You most certainly went through far too many buggerations - but - it was all worth the hassle.

The surgery wishes to see MacSporran. There was a message on the answer phone. We're away very soon. Tomorrow is ironing duty day. Then, with a little luck, I may reach the point when I feel satisfied with Harry's portrait. In which case, it can be posted to Susan on Friday.

TOYA...especially our dragonfly and any of our Granspals in need of lots of tender loving care. smile moon

callgirl1 Tue 03-Sept-19 16:30:15

Carillion01 Tue 03-Sept-19 19:29:43

Dear Dragonfly, how good it was to hear from you!
Sending love and hoping for a peaceful and restful night for you. Xx???

GrannyGravy13 Tue 03-Sept-19 20:12:39

Strange evening in "Gravy Grange" I made an authentic Spanish tortilla and salad for dinner..............which is now in fridge for lunch tomorrow.

Nobody fancied it.........we had egg and chips?????

The irony of exactly the same ingredients has totally passed Mr.Gravy by ???

Doodle Tue 03-Sept-19 20:12:57

Hope McSporran is ok soop.

GrannyGravy13 Tue 03-Sept-19 20:22:51

Soop missed your earlier post, fingers crossed for McSporran ??

Lins1066 Tue 03-Sept-19 21:55:24

Hope McSporran is ok. Best Wishes for him.

Panache Tue 03-Sept-19 22:46:45

Nannytopsy Wed 04-Sept-19 03:19:51

thanks for dragonfly and ?for mcsporran.
We were safely packed up today and the vans (2! ?) will arrive tomorrow. Suddenly find we have DGD for the morning - just what we need! Think this is how it starts!

NanaandGrampy Wed 04-Sept-19 08:49:09

Morning all !

It is persisting down here so Sam and I are sitting in the orangery enjoying being cosy indoors whilst its so horrible out there. I feel for all the little ones going back to school today !

Glad you're on your way home Dragonfly, hope you feel lots better soon.

GrannyG isn't that always the way. To be fair the last couple of nights I haven't really enjoyed the planned dinner because I just didn't fancy it once cooked ...but I do like egg and chips :-)

Good luck today NannyT - it'll soon be done :-)

Am I the only person in the world that is sick, sick sick of Brexit? And totally saddened by the meltdown of democracy - sorry to bring it into the kitchen …. please pass the cake - its the only thing that might cheer me up.

We are off to the cinema later to see Angel has Fallen , it will do nothing to dispel the sense of impending doom I have for the world but there will be popcorn and quite frankly , I need that :-)

Sending you all a little rain for the plants ( please send back cake !!)
