Some housework to do but I will be out in the garden as much as possible

Might tackle the ironing tonight only 'cause I need my shorts

Good morning all from Sunny Surrey. I did a lot of washing yesterday so the ironing basket is waiting today but will go out and do something first. On my own this week as family on holiday until Saturday and I am really missing them. I have not had a conversation with anyone since they left as my volunteering and work is only term time. Good job I like my own company and thank goodness for the cat! Hope you all have a nice day whatever you do.

Meeting a friend for coffee this morning, then this afternoon I have an appointment at the vet for my dog Buzz. He is itching and his skin looks awful. It is some sort of allergy, poor fellow.

Wednesday already! Where do the weeks go?

Our squirrel has eaten all the birds nuts so off to re-fill dispenser before the gym.

Have a very sore arm and tummy is a bit "iffy" from pre-holiday vaccinations yesterday, but hey ho any inconveniences will be forgotten when we get to see AS in November.

It's a treat to feel a bit of warmth outside though up to now we haven't got full sun yet. It's very still too.
Everyone seems so " on the go " or away yet I could just muster up the oomph yesterday to get all my shopping in. Then again I think you have less motivation on your own and tend to go into lazy mode.

When D from Oz rang me yesterday I'd felt scared for her on her return from here to her home as she'd told me about an incident on the flight before it had left Dubai. It had delayed their onward journey and passengers were all compensated. I couldn't stop thinking about it all yesterday. So glad that everyone was safe. Scary for her.

Jumpers and trousers to wash today and another blitz of my wardrobe to fill yet another charity bag. I really don't need all the clothes I have !

Good morning from east London, bright this morning with hopefully some warm to come. Woken this morning at 6.30 with a phone call from the people delivering the kitchen worktop that the delivery had been brought forward from 9 and would be arriving in half an hour. Rather than draw straws as to who would get up, we both did. So why am I now rushing to get breakfast and get out by 9? Tennis this morning and off to see a friend this afternoon who’s got some plums for me. Have a good day.

Gilly, I'm so impressed! I once took my pupils to a ceramic, painting class.
I had a go at painting a frog, I'm ashamed to say, it was a total disaster. I now know how it should have looked!

Such lovely posts today. Well done gilly that’s looks fab what a nice gran you are!good news for dragonfly too. Ne looks a bit drab today three days to my hols but not counting! I think all work and no play makes us dull girls ha ha!

Good morning all from a bright Northampton.

Turned out to be a lovely day yesterday; did some washing, cleaned the kitchen and then managed to join my group for a Health Walk after lunch. Repaired to the cafe afterwards for coffee and chat. Then when I got back let the cats out into the garden while I did some much needed pruning (hacking at an out of control buddleia) and weeding. They are indoor cats so are only let out when I can keep an eye on them; they love to do a bit of exploring, but mostly sit in the sun and watch for passing birds and insects.

Will walk down to the local post office this morning to post my nieces' birthday cards (sisters who have birthdays two days apart), and use the cash machine. Then back to cut the front grass. More weeding after lunch.

Out tonight to an Italian restaurant for my wine club's annual dinner - DD will come here after work and we will go together. Must book a taxi as we will not be driving!I

Good morning everyone from Malaga where we have dark clouds over the mountains behind us! Pantglas1 did you hitch them to your plane and drag them over with you?

Just checked on line and there is a 40% chance of ‘precipitation’ (nice word!) between 10am and 3pm today. Hoping we are in the 60% then.

Off on the train (which the children love!) for an evening in Fuengirola later - we go to a plaza a few streets back from the beach. It’s usually packed with Spanish enjoying food outside at the half dozen restaurants.

Hope Wednesday is good to us all whether we have plans or none. x

Good news yesterday as the CT scan was clear of spread and finally op booked for 2nd September. DD is taking the week off work to come home then which is amazing.

Hello everyone, I am up first today, just for once. I had a really lovely day yesterday meeting up with GD number 2. We met in John Lewis, had a bit to eat and such a lovely chat. She later sent me a text saying what a lovely time she had and loads of kisses. Today looks like being a good day with the weather but I shall be indoors, hay fever, as I bought the material to recover our rocking chair and that is my next project. Be happy .

Been very busy since Friday, so today is for recharging batteries before the move. It’s gone back a week because the removals men let us down. ?
