What is it about this woman that one word of criticism brings out post after post criticising anyone who criticises her.

Didn't have buggies when mine were little. Had a pushchair. Quite different. Probably more comfortable for the child and better for carrying shopping. Dragging it across a beach was a pain in the proverbial though.

I criticised the Sussexes' conspicuous consumerism and their inept handling of publicity over recent events.

I think an older and wiser person suggested that it might be a good idea to be seen enjoying a family event, brothers, wives, children, which is what happened.
Immediately there is an onslaught of criticism because the new mother doesn't know how to hold a baby, shouldn't walk on uneven ground, can't sit down; the Duchess of Cambridge didn't admire the baby, none of the children wore hats.

We have got a polo place near us and it looks amazing (what they let you see of it from the outside, which isn't much). Charles has played there.

I do think carrying a baby might be better than bumping it over uneven ground in a buggy designed for town pavements. And whatever did people do before buggies and slings??? Surprise babies have been carried for thousands of years!

In Wales babies were always carried in Welsh shawls , very
cosy, rather warm in summer but I loved carrying my babies that way

What was done before buggies and slings , babies left with granny, or Aunt , the days of extended families.
