or filling his nappy and she's thinking 'oh no'

Callistemon Thu 11-Jul-19 13:36:19

Don't royal children wear hats in the summer ?

NanaandGrampy Thu 11-Jul-19 13:42:23

well that worked out well then eh? Gonegirl :-)

quizqueen Thu 11-Jul-19 13:42:42

She looks like she's wearing a sack too, not groomed to the nines as she was at Wimbledon. Whoops, that's definitely Meghan bashing and bitchy, I know, but I couldn't resist it, but it's probably to ensure no one wants to takes a selfie with her!!!

Johno Thu 11-Jul-19 13:43:45

Who cares. My mum put my brother in a drawer, we had no beds in our council house. Now we pay our tax to keep this woman and her child in total luxury until their demise. (I do wish them good health and a long life tho)

Callistemon Thu 11-Jul-19 13:48:33

yes, it was bitchy quizqueen
She's just had a baby and went to an informal event.

if you don't care johno why post?

what is the matter with everyone?

suziewoozie Thu 11-Jul-19 13:51:29

Of course I don’t think she reads GN - where did I say I thought she did? Even if you started wanting it to be a light hearted thread, your reposting of Tweets leaves me in no doubt as to your motives now. On my high horse? Better than being down in the gutter

Gonegirl Thu 11-Jul-19 13:52:01

This is not a "huge pick on Meghan" thing! It's light-hearted. (The impossibility on GN it seems)

Anniebach Thu 11-Jul-19 13:52:54

Taking photographs of her at Wimbledon not allowed she was not on public duty, taking photographs at a polo match , not public duties was allowed . But the polo shots did bring
awwwwwwwww, cute, kissing her baby

Gonegirl Thu 11-Jul-19 13:53:17

I have told you you are wrong. If you can't get that, not my problem.

Gonegirl Thu 11-Jul-19 13:53:50

What makes you think I am "in the gutter"?! shock

Gonegirl Thu 11-Jul-19 13:54:07

that to sw

trisher Thu 11-Jul-19 13:54:23

That might be what you hoped Gonegirl but some posters are deadly serious!!!!

Gonegirl Thu 11-Jul-19 13:55:06

There is a lovely picture of Kate kissing Louis Ab at the same match. I will see if I can find it.

Gonegirl Thu 11-Jul-19 13:55:49

Deadly's right. Pure poison!

Nico97 Thu 11-Jul-19 14:00:22

Light hearted or not Gonegirl you surely must have realised that it would turn into a Meghan bash ? You post earlier that you actually think she tries too hard, she probably does in an effort to avoid some of the hurtful comments such as those in a lot of the GN threads or elsewhere. Give the lass a break.

Anniebach Thu 11-Jul-19 14:05:21

Megan bash ? Rubbish

Gonegirl Thu 11-Jul-19 14:20:44

Yeah, cos she's reading this all the time isn't she Nico97! grin

Gets dafter.

Beammeupscottie Thu 11-Jul-19 15:20:25

I think I know what Gonegirl means. M looks as if she is bored with the whole thing and is clinging to her baby for comfort; that was my instant personal impression. The baby would have been cooler in his basket or with his nanny back home. Mind you, she is going through staff like library books, so perhaps new nanny is just that; too new.

Callistemon Thu 11-Jul-19 15:22:58

What makes you think I am "in the gutter"?!
What's the saying?

"In the gutter but looking up at the stars" wink

Callistemon Thu 11-Jul-19 15:25:22

I got it slightly wrong:

'We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars.'
Oscar Wilde

Anniebach Thu 11-Jul-19 15:27:57

In fairness to Megan, she has married a man who has alway
enjoyed pastimes which have never been part of her life .

Polo, shooting, hunting etc, he was country she was town.
I doubt she will enjoy weeks at Balmoral .

Gonegirl Thu 11-Jul-19 15:30:26

Yes, I like that C. smile

Callistemon Thu 11-Jul-19 15:32:46

There's another quote which is similar about looking up at the stars but I can't quite remember it - DGD taught it me when she was about 2, it was by Peppa Pig
