Absolutely, Iam64. Years ago my Grandma always used to say she'd not want to be in the Royal Fanily for love nor money. And that was long before the internet and all that goes with it. And yes ... that made me laugh ... of course you can leap out of planes wearing protection! Just the mention of them made me shudder and remember my first baby. I was only 20. Married to a crazy Spaniard living in the Canaries and I had a PPH and stitches etc and I had to resort to gigantic sanitary towels for a week or 2. One of my least favourite memories of motherhood! If you're born into Royalty I suppose you know what's coming and learn to cope but if I was Meghan I'd be pulling my hair out. Bird in a gilded cage. People are going to comment, endlessly, about anything and everything which is fair enough. Just goes with the job.

I am not even that bothered about the Royal family so have never seen any other photos. I just don't 'get' what the OP is getting at! A first time mum, with her baby is all I see and nothing to be derogatory about.

I still have a mummy tummy and I'm 74.

Gonegirl Jeans act like a corset, as I remember well from my own days with a newborn, and that's probably why she looked thinner when photographed at Wimbledon.

If she lost loads of weight and sprung back to a size 8 (or whatever) in three weeks after giving birth she would be a bad role model.
Now she's got a mummy tummy and other mothers are criticising her on Twatter, sorry, Twitter, and that's wrong too.

The photos give me the impression that somebody held a gun to her head and told her that whether or not she liked Kate/hated polo/didn't want to be photographed with Archie/fed up with the criticism. She'd better get her a**e down to Wokingham and look like she's enjoying herself.

Meghan really looks like she wishes she was a million miles away and although I've criticised her apparently controlling attitude I think she should be left alone now. Her parenting skills shouldn't come into question.

Kate didn't have to parade any of her children when they were only two months old and even Zara, who takes Mia to just about all her eventing competitions wouldn't have done so. We haven't even seen the youngest Tindall and she's about the same age as Louis.

I'm quite surprised she took him to the polo match. Couldn't have been very comfortable for her. I think the poor girl tries too hard.

I realy don't understand this huge pick on Meghan thing, but if it's of any help my eldest was a baby who never wanted to be laid down Try holding him in your arms laid flat and he screamed his head off if he wasn't asleep. He would even fall asleep held straight up like in the photo and wake as soon as you moved him down if you were too quick. Baby isn't yelling, baby is supported, baby is happy! What the hell else do you want?
